Saw it sold for $925. Anyone else have trouble locating cards they are pretty sure they have, but not able to find them? Maybe I just need a better organization setup. My original goal years ago was to have every card in a snaptite or 1 screw. Now I think some could just use a toploader with penny sleeve. What would be the best 5000ct box? If I did the box method, I could sort by year and easily retreive cards to verify if I have them or not.

I use giant boxes and top loaders. Still hard to find stuff, but I don't have them organized by year.

My plan is to blow this into a 8x10 or whatever looks the best and frame it with the card and cell.

I looked everywhere for a storage solution that would keep everything neat and my wife happy. I found it early this year.
I actually bought these containers at the container store and they are perfect. If you buy the small stacking ones all you need to buy is dividers. I've got about 4 of them holding about 2000 cards in top loaders (I actually put every Rickey card in a top loader). They are great for organizing and keeping it neat. You can also pull the drawers out. You would get next size up for graded cards. I will see if I can get a picture for you.

That is a sweet set up! I wonder if I can find something similar at a local big box store. What did you use for the dividers for the rows?

This should help. You may be able to find some cheaper somewhere but I looked a while just to let you know. These drawers also come in white. The dividers are the best I could find too, you measure and cut with an exacto knife.

Drawers

http://www.containerstore.com/shop/storage/drawers?productId=10024854

Medium Stacking Drawer Smoke (you probably don’t need this one, I got two (1 for storage, 1 for my PSA graded cards which are bigger)

Small Stacking Drawer Smoke (this is the one for regular size cards

You will also need the drawer dividers:

For the small drawers get 2" Custom Drawer Organizer Strips White Pkg/4 (1 package is for 2 drawers)

For the medium drawers get 3" Custom Drawer Organizer Strips White Pkg/4

Yeah John, that does look really nice! And the drawers look pretty portable if you want to take one out and carry it up some stairs. Unlike my beautiful boxes... the nice thing is I can file graded cards and screw downs in with my top loaders. Also, I don't like having my cards in top loaders with no team bag on them, and with the team bag they don't fit in those cardboard boxes... but once you try to move one, you realize maybe it wasn't that brilliant of an idea. And then you go put an ice pack on your aching back.

Hope everybody is well. I'm hanging in there, but you know... it's tough. I have managed to continue jogging 2 miles every day, so that's good. And I got to go back to that museum I talked about a few months back, that was awesome. Because it's free. And I have no job.
