I have never heard of it. It is listed in SCD. It says it is numbered to 180.

Is that SCD new? We discovered that it was once in the Beckett OPG, but is no longer there... so not really sure if it was ever made. :geek: hmmm....

It is the 2007 SCD. It has him listed with Olerud on the same card. I checked with an Olerud guy. He has the card #/180 but no Rickey on it?

This info is wrong. It has him and a few others listed, but no numbering info, or pricing. Probably doesnt exist.

What's that Brad? Is that yours? I've only seen the white borders and the Polar Bear!

Of course, I've been too engulfed in CCness to check out ebay tonight...

Yup, it's mine :) You can check out this thread on my quest to find one!

Are you willing to divulge what the "reasonable price" was? Sounds like you got a crazy steal!

I was wishing Rickey's WAS an auto, since I can't afford one anyway. The little autos look cool. I don't think he could fit his sig onto a mini card like that though.

It was a little over $30 delivered. Considering the two Polar Bears have sold for $75 and $45, and this is the only Old Mill I'd seen, I figured I should jump on it :)

I'm watching! I seem to be the only one to ever post anymore in the Ozzie thread so I love checking this one. That is an old school 1 of 1!! :o Love it.

This isn't a new one for my collection, but since we were showing some old school 1-of-1 Rickeys, here's a 99 Ultra Masterpiece Edition (yes it is purple....very cool)

Sorry for the crappy quality image. Some day when I have more time, I'll get this scanned in properly.

Ken, you've been active recently...some nice pickups. I'm sure all of you guys have been outbidding me for these 2010 Triple Threads, but I gotta be honest...they don't look all that great. I was thisclose to pulling the Buy-It-Now on that 1-of-1 booklet card that you got Ken, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

And...what is that T-206 Old Mill version? Is it serial numbered or harder to find than the Polar Bears? Got any more info on it that you can pass along?

First off, sweet masterpiece!! As for the Old Mill, exact info is hard to come by. Here's a thread I started with a little more info:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=107111

Topps didn't release odds, and they are not serial numbered, but I've seen a couple of different estimates of around 15 Old Mill's and 30 Polar Bears, based on the case print runs. But, I also haven't heard of anyone that has seen more than one Old Mill of there player. I'll keep you guys updated if I learn more.

Thanks Brad. BTW, is that a 2002 Fleer Premium base card or is there something special about it? You guys are always coming up with sh*t I've never heard of before so if that's different than the base card, let me know so I can add it to my "keep-chasing-it-but-will-likely-never-get-it-before-I-die" list. That's different from my "found-it-but-ain't-no-way-I'm-paying-that-price" list.

Scott, it's a 2002 Fleer Premium "Star Ruby" parallel, and is serial numbered to 125. It's Rickey's only other card in the 2002 Fleer Premium set. Even though there's supposedly 125 copies, I'd never seen one before, and snatched it up when I could. I only noticed it as I thought the red border seemed a bit odd, and didn't remember the base card being red!

What an exciting weekend on ebay, tons of great Rickeys brought to us by rickeyh2435. Who is that guy? He sounds soooo familiar...

I read this little story in his 96 Topps Gallery Players Private Issue auction...

Serial Numbered 954/1000 (Actual only 500 exist)

100 were given to the players

400 were destroyed

Is that true? I'd never heard it before...

Ken, any way you can post pictures of the two mugs? I might be interested.
