Early Pujols stuff, like 2001-2005, seems to be going through a reevaluation lately, as could be expected with the way he finished his last month. The hobby pretty much buried him with his Anaheim years, but people can now appreciate his career as a whole, and it's really something. There have been dozens of his 2004 cards sold for $200 or more in the past couple months, not even counting autos and PSA 10s and such. The only two Hot Gloves sold on ebay lately were BINs, so true market value is a little hard to pin down. I'm sure the BGS 9 was a snap-buy by someone at $65 considering a SGC 9.5 sold for $999. Plus, Hot Gloves has always had their fans, so there's probably competition from set builders as well.
