That fact that you're litterally too stupid to insult. No need to further derail the thread, but if you can't figure out why everyone thinks this, then my original point stands.

Why would you want to insult me, isn't insulting others trolling? What does littering have to do with being "too stupid to insult"..? Actually, please don't answer these questions.

Its not like you've said why wrong jerseys are acceptable, or that Elite/Pro Debut cards are good cards. Actually the only point you've made is that you didn't know you were selling some Montero cards here. But that's OK.

I'm actually curious to know the disposition and plans of your Montero cards, might as well add something to this thread you were worried about derailing.

Actually, "trolling" is defined as someone who posts with the deliberate intention of encouraging argument. For instance, to assign a negative connotation to those people who buy Montero's cards.

From Page 2:

People don't think, they're just following the crowd; they're easily influenced and manipulated by a hobby that supports and encourages mindlessness with regard to certain types of cards.

The real shocker will come to people in 20 years when they find most/all of these cards won't be worth more than the late '80s/early '90s stuff.

Well, surely then insults do fall into the category of trolling, don't they?

This isn't a comment directed toward Montero cards, rather to "most/all of these cards" in general if you read carefully. Additionally its not a negative comment unless you think negatively towards late '80s/early '90s stuff, I sure know I don't, I have every set and love them all even though they're practically worthless. Unless you know what will happen in 20 years you can't call this an inaccurate or negative post simply because it goes against your own agenda.

But you stepped upon something else bigger here I was touching on when you said negative connotations = trolling. Its easy to see how hype builds when someone 'isn't allowed' to say something that could be remotely considered negative even if completely or even potentially accurate... This kind of thinking caused the housing bubble and the tech stock bubble, and so on, and so on...and it hasn't helped those tech companies or the housing market, has it?

So yes - exactly like I said: "People don't think, they're just following the crowd; they're easily influenced and manipulated by a hobby that supports and encourages mindlessness with regard to certain types of cards" is true because thinking DIFFERENTLY is considered "trolling" to some people's agendas with regard to certain types of cards, thereby encouraging mindlessness. *YOU YOURSELF* are only reinforcing the mindless behavior I'm speaking about, again, here by saying anything negative is trolling.

Thinking differently is not necessarily negative behavior even if you'd like to think it is. And you don't see me calling anyone a horse's ass for for buying whatever they're buying or not buying either, unlike others here...

Bowman's MLB unis on MiLB players bothers me the same as sticker autos bother others, some don't like Topps' monopoly and complain about that. None of these things are trolling.

I didn't say that at all. I said assigning a negative connotation with the intention of provoking an argument - a deliberate one, at that - would likely be considered trolling.

Yes you did when you followed up and said "For instance, to assign a negative connotation to those people who buy Montero's cards." You didn't say anything about the provocation of an argument here even though you used it as your example.

But even at that it doesn't matter much given some people's inability - or rather sometimes their unwillingness - to discern between a discussion and an argument for immediate purposes.

if some people dont understand the power of a legit yankee power prospect and their ultimate card potential they are just not cut out for this game. Most Montero people who had stashes most likely sold off some stuff at top hype and now have gravy. If he gets the call and has even a decent showing skies the limit. Its the exact reason why some of us do this stuff.

Youre speaking as if people expect Montero to be a Yankee

Almost everyone I know expects him to be traded.

.
Unless you know Brian Cashman who cares.

Then why are you speculating in this thread?

Who cares about what your opinion is either if you look at it like that.
Never gave my opinion on Jesus Montero :|

Virtualyankee, née uniquebaseballcards is a bit mentally slow. I don't think he actually realizes he's being a troll. It's quite amusing watching him fail to grasp certain issues after being told numerous times

Yeah, people should always tell others what to think, and always from you :? Are you reading what I've been saying about mindlessness? I suppose you don't realize you're being a troll by calling me mentally slow, or does that not matter to you?

JoshHamilton née Brick only wants to argue.

Its hilarious how some people are so threatened by someone thinking athletes should be wearing their proper uniform. Another case in point.
