I was amazed by this one! The seller started it at $300 and I :lol: 'd, then somebody bid... and got outbid! :shock: I was totally shocked by the ending price. The lucky guy who lost the auction for #4/5 won #1/5 two days later for $282.76! So I bet he's feeling pretty good about that.

are the pulls from the rip cards /5 any better than /99, is that why the prices are running so much higher or is it simply the fact they are /5?

No, from what I've seen it's exact opposite. I've seen a few people post the rip card a 1/1 skeetch and woods have come from higher serial # ones , mostly of 99 prints.
It's all randon, lower serial # means nothing as to what it contains.

That's interesting, certainly hard to understand the huge premiums then. However, I do believe if for instance Sabathia is an /5, there are no Sabathias /25 or /99, so if you want a Sabathia rip card you have 5 total options, that's it.

ANybody read story on shop owner that pulled it. It was his first pack he pulled out of a box to just show people what cards look like and he pulls one of the top cards in the product.
