Someone explain eBay Bucks please

I keep hearing about eBay bucks. I've gotten no offers and have no idea how to use it.

Can anyone help?

Every 4 months, you get a credit that's the accumulated eBay Bucks earnings.

How much you earn on each purchase kinda depends on if they are running a promotion, etc.

You first need to enroll in the program ( http://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?RewardsExtEnroll&CTASignup=false&ExtLanding=true ).

You'll earn eBay bucks on every eligible purchase you make on eBay at a rate of 2% of the purchase price (sometimes higher during promotions). Bucks are awarded quarterly and are applied to your account, similar to a gift card. Once awarded, you'll carry a balance that can be applied towards future purchases.

Edited to add: I believe you need to pay via Paypal in order to receive eBay bucks.

Ebay bucks are only available to US customers. I think you need to go on the full site to get set up (not the mobile app). I used to be enrolled until they cut off Canadian buyers.

did you break down and sign up for PP? I believe its the only way to collect them...

You have to warn $5 in bucks per quarter or you lose them. They run deals though.

I thought you had to be at least 18 to use eBay? For an adult, earning $5 or more a quarter is doable.

Yeah, but a responsible parent could make that happen; still doesn't mean the kids has tons to blow on eBay.

The way I see it, it's nice for eBay to do at least something for people spending money on their site. Its not going to apply to everyone but I usually have more than enough to buy at least one card I want that I didn't have.

Takes a a good amount of time to expire so don't worry
