Since I have a TON going on for graphing, I figured I would make my own thread to track it all just for the next couple weeks...

Here is what I am looking at:

January 25th - Anthony Swarzak, Dan Gladden, Chris Parmelee, Trevor Plouffe
January 28th - TwinsFest (too many people lined up to name off here)
February 4th - Justin Gominsky, AJ Pettersen, Robb Quinlan, Seth Rosin (Gopher Alumni Game so maybe many more than that)

February 12th - Michael Oher Book signing

I will update each as I go along. I am actually leaving in about 5 minutes for caravan...

Re: TB's January/February IP Thread

Alright, the first night is done.

I went 4/4 with everything that I needed. Pics will be included hopefully tomorrow, but I may wait until Sunday or Monday.

Gladden 1/1 SI
Chris Parmelee 1/1 First HR stub
Anthony Swarzak 1/1 card
Trevor Plouffe 1/1 card

I may go to another stop tomorrow with the same guys. Most likely not, but we will see.

Re: TB's January/February IP Thread

I wasn't planning on going tonight but I have nothing going on, it's warm, I feel good, and the roads are clear so I figured I would go to another Caravan.

Same guys as last time...

EDIT for results:

Had a good time. It was nice and short. Pretty funny too.

Trevor Plouffe 1/1 on an 8x10 PhotoFile
Dan Gladden 1/1 on a '88 Donruss
Chris Parmelee 1/1 on an '06 Bowman Chrome
Anthony Swarzak 1/1 on his Heritage RC.

Re: TB's January/February IP Thread

HUGE update...

I got a total of 40 autographs (some with help) today. I will post pics of everything tomorrow. Next up is the Gopher Alumni game (if we make it).

I also did a good sized 50/50 today with someone and I should be getting that in late this week, so my TF totals will only go up.

Pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

If anyone want to see anything in detail, PLMK. I will do my best to get a list up tomorrow of who signed what. The Plouffe was swapped out of it's frame for the Morneau. These were all obtained IP, none were purchases from dealers. First pic is caravan, all the others are TwinsFest.

The ticket stub was from Brad Radke's debut. I bought it over the phone last week and had it brought over to get signed. That line was crazy insane though so we didn't make it.

I am probably not going to go to the game next week. I would love too, but it might not happen. If I do, I will only be getting 3-4 graphs. Not the tons that I had originally planned on.

Re: TB's January/February IP Thread

Thanks!

Yes, it is Oliva and Carew on an OMLB. It was unexpected to get them so I didn't have something for each of them but it looks really sick sitting in the case.

Re: TB's January/February IP Thread

Unfortunately, it does not appear as if I will make today's game as a few last minute things came up. I didn't have a ton of time to plan for it anyway so there wasn't going to be a major recap. I was only going to bring 6-7 cards.

Book signing for next weekend is still a possibility though.

Re: TB's January/February IP Thread

I ended up making the game as a last, last, minute change

I forgot the sharpie at home. I grabbed the cards, but forgot the sharpie that was sitting 2 inches away ::facepalm::

So no graphs from that, but I did grab 3 programs, and I took some pics that I am going to send TTM during spring training.

As far as I know, the Oher signing is still on. I know there aren't a ton of book collectors, but when I get it in, I will show a pic.

Lets see the Oher book. Did they not make it in a hardback? Was it very busy?

It was busier than I expected. They roped off a section of the rotunda where the signing was going to be and that filled up and they also had an overflow section that filled up. I believe they were able to accommodate everyone but it took a good 3-4 hours to do that.

They did make the book in hardback form, but in order to get a hard back signed, you had to buy at least 2 paperbacks and I don't think the bookstore was selling any that day. The rules were just weird that way.

I will have a pic up in a bit. I had mine personalized just because I could. I don't normally have autographs personalized but it didn't cost any extra and it's PC anyways.

Forgot to post a pic of the Oher book.

Oh well.

While I didn't get it IP, I wanted to share it. I will post a pic later tonight.

It's a Brad Radke signed 8x10. He did a free signing and I found someone who got it signed for me.

Wow graphing is dull here... Seriously... there is just nothing... absolutely nothing...

Anyway, my next 2 that I have lined up are Trevor Plouffe and Bret Saberhagen. I am taking a magazine to Brett Saberhagen but I still need something for Plouffe... I already have an 8x10 and an OMLB costs a lot of money...

You can find an OMLB for $15ish, but why even waste it when the ball is worth more than the signature?
