I have to total everything up, which I'll do tomorrow, but here's what I know I got today at Rochester @ Willmar

Coach Tony Pechek 6/6 - cards. (Former MiLBer)
Coach Adam White 6/6 - cards. (Former MiLBer)
Nick Dolsky 2/2 - customs. (Top MN HS player in 2009)
Hayden Edwards 2/2 - customs. (2012 Royals draft pick)
Matt Hollaran 2/2 - customs, inscribed one 2008-2009 State Champs (Played hockey at Eden Prairie with Kyle Rau and Nick Leddy)
Marc Flores 1/1 - SS card. Currently a hitting machine.

Marc took the binder from me and had some other players sign stuff for me. I have to see who signed what, and then I'll post it.

I also bought a program that Colton Bottomley (FGCU) had signed. Because I bought the signed program, I won a prize.

Stingers played 2 games today, first one was home at 12, so I went. They happened to be playing the Blue Anchors (coached by Al Newman).

Got him 2/2 (87 Fleer, 89 Topps)

The graphing season gets pretty slow this time of year, but I was able to knock my #1 want off my book list.

Howard Mohr's "How to Talk Minnesotan." He signed the original book, and the revised book for me.

Not planning too much else for the rest of the year. There is a former Braves MiLBer who signed on to play college football in our division and he'll be out here in a couple months. Our football coach used to be a QB in the NFL, so I might try to get him to sign something. We'll see.

Got to sneak one in at today's football game.

The wide receiver for the opposing team (Winona St.), Tony Mueller, used to play baseball in the Braves organization. The Braves dropped him, so he came back to school and decided to play football for the remainder of his eligibility.

I met him on the field after the game, and he signed a pair of cards for me. Unfortunately, one of the cards had some surface damage (my fault), but that's alright, these are for me anyways.

Justin Morneau - 1/1 16x20

I had the pleasure of obtaining an MVP ticket to Justin Morneau's coat drive that he held in a suburb of the Twin Cities. I donated 20 coats, so I got my picture taken, and one autograph. Also got to share a few words with Morneau about some stuff.

Safe to say that his hand got pretty tired. MLB Trade Rumors said that the event brought in over 3,000 coats, so that's 3,000 autographs he signed.

As part of the coat drive, I also received 19 signed 8x10s (3 of which are for a member here).

Unfortunately, my phone bit the dust so no pic is available.

It's January, and that means graphs.

I went to Sid Hartman's "Estate Sale" this past weekend. Sid left before I could get his autograph, but we did buy a CD that was signed. I also got one of his suit jackets.

Then, I was going to graph a private caravan stop featuring Ryan Pressly and Brian Duensing (I had asked permission from Pressly). Unfortunately, a snowstorm hit and they had to cancel.

BUT, last night I attended the first ever West Central Baseball HOF Induction/Willmar Stingers Winter BBQ. Got some good graphs. 3 former players were on hand, as well as one of the inductees (most of the inductees were deceased, and one could not be there.)

First, the current players:

Jordan Smith 1/1 - A local kid who played for Willmar HS, went to college at SCSU, then came to play for the Stingers in 2010. He was drafted by the Indians. I don't know where he is in the organization, but he's still going strong.

Jacob Barnes 1/1 - Another 2010 Stingers player, currently in the Brewers organization.

Sean Dwyer 1/1 - 10/11 Stingers player, currently in the Rockies organization.

And then one of the inductees happened to be a major PC player (the 3 mentioned above are too, but not to this extent).

I won't go into why I collect him (we'll be here for a while), but Mike Kingery was one of the inductees. I brought him one of his old bats. I walked up to him and said "Can you sign your bat, please?" He looked at me and said "My bat?"

I handed it to him, and he signed it. Then he looked it over, and gripped it in his hands and lightly swung it a few times. He said "Yup this is my bat." He then asked me where I bought it and how much I paid. I wanted to chat longer, but he was being mobbed by fans, so I let him chat with his friends.

He's a very nice guy, and it's always a pleasure to see him. He talked about his time in the Majors, with George Brett.

The night was Hunter Dozier heavy too. He wasn't there, but he was sure talked about.

Might as well give a summer update, even though summer is over.

Had a light one this year. Couldn't make it to many events. Unfortunately that's going to be the trend heading forward.

Eddie Guardado - Signed Seattle Mariners Locker Tag

-Picked this up from GUU a year or two ago, and Everyday Eddie absolutely loved it. I told him I wished I had a Twins one.

Little House on the Prairie Cast Reunion - Signed Season 1 DVD

-The original story took place fairly close to home and they hold a celebration every summer. This year, 9 or 10 of the TV show's cast members attended the celebration and held free public signings. I was able to get everyone except for 2 or 3 of the attendees. Unfortunately, Melissa Gilbert was not there.

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton - Signed Hockey Puck

-The Gov. played D1 at Yale. Minded the net. Had to get a puck signed by him.

A couple more I forgot to mention:

Rich Petino (Gopher Basketball Coach, son of Rick) - index card
Jerry Kill (Gopher Football Coach) - index card
Hugh McCutcheon (Olympic and Gopher Volleyball Coach) - index card
Leo Lewis (NFL player and UofM staf member) - index card + 3 cards
Quincy Lews (NBA player and UofM staff member) - index card
Don Lucia (NHL Draft Pick and Gopher Hockey Coach) - index card (signed w/State Champion 76 + 77)
John Anderson (Certified Legend and Gopher Baseball Coach) Big-10 "OMLB" w/HOF inscription

Was going to have John sign a hockey puck too, since he played for Hibbing Community College back in the day, but didn't get the chance to purchase one.

Leo Lewis made stops all around the state with the Gopher coaches, but it was never announced. I however, had a hunch that he was coming so I ordered some cards in advance. He was absolutely thrilled to see them.
