Evening all! Work has been pretty busy the last few days. Just got in a bit ago and took the dog for a walk. Random question for the pros of the MT. I went to the optometrist this morning and the doctor said that my last precription was over correcting for my eye sight and they cut my prescription in half. Does this sound strange or even possible?

Hope everyone has had a good week and a great Friday!

Hey, Darren! Week was slow because of the holiday weekend. I thought it would never get here. Can't offer much in the eye explanation department, I'll be 50 next month and have never had to wear glasses. I feel very fortunate. Anything planned for the weekend?

Hey Dave! Working 11 to 8 the next two days, but off for 2 days after that! Maybe working on my cards first part of next week, but I also have to take some roofing down to my mom's vacation place earlynext week once it comes in. The nice thing about working at Lowe's is that I get a paycheck and get the materials at 10 percent over cost!

Fixed it for you. ;) Where abouts is the vacation place?

Just found the Cards beating up on the Cubbies. Sorry Charlie, Jeff.

Edit Ludwig hits a 2 run shot in the top 9 to extend the lead.
Actually Jesse this was over after the first 3 batters. And Wells never recorded an out :(

Top 1st: St. Louis
- A. Pujols singled to center, F. Lopez and R. Ludwick scored
- C. Rasmus singled to right, A. Pujols scored, M. Holliday to second
- Y. Molina doubled to shallow right, M. Holliday and C. Rasmus scored

So if I remember correctly, I paid about $250 for the box of Sterling back then.. So the box paid off..

and then to find that card the other day.. and sell it so quick just since the Ripken was closing today.. So that paid off..

Now I need to find another card since there are a few more Ultimates I could use..

Hi all,

Late check in for me.

Sorry I missed the "guess the lunch" game!

Update on the continuing saga across the street:

The boot is still on the car and it hasn't been towed yet.

There is also a sign pasted to the driver window which says in large letters: WARNING: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MOVE THIS VEHICLE

Chris took pictures earlier and hopefully I can show some tomorrow.

That particular car has received at LEAST 4 parking tickets over the past few months. This city don't fool around when it comes to ordinance violation fines. Chris bets that it has bad/non-existent registration. I am leaning toward a body in the trunk. Will let you know how it turns out.

Late check in for me, too! Our Movie Gallery is closing so all the DVD's and games are being sold. We bought the blue ray of "30 Days of Night" (great vampire movie), regular dvd of "Trailer Park Boys", "Redneck Games" for the Wii and a WWII flying game for the PS3. Looking forward to a day of sitting on my arse and staring at the TV! :D

I'm perfecting my multi-tasking skills! :D I plan on producing a video to help those who are less capable than I am. Remember kiddies, Uncle Dave is here to help.
