Nothing much Alex, wife has a day off from work so if the weather holds up for us it will likely be a day outside for us.

[quote="Anthony K.":2elcspta]Afternoon everyone.

Watched a couple of new to me movies yesterday - "Daybreakers" and "The Road". "Daybreakers" had some great action and Ethan Hawke was pretty damn good, great vampire movie overall. "The Road" is kind of a dreary, survival movie about a father and his son trying to stay alive in a post-apocalyptic world where cannibals rule the streets and everyone is out for themselves. The last 15 minutes or so of the movie were truly heart wrenching, involving the father slowly dying and his young teen son having to cope with his death. My wife hated it, but I recommend it.

Spoiler alert much??? ::facepalm::

Morning peeps!!![/quote:2elcspta]

I'd apologize for it, but, well, I don't care ;)

It's a tough world out there, so maybe next time put a helmet on before slapping yourself, huh?

Morning fellas! Lost our second game in a row last night. Without or best hitter which hurt, but we made some nice plays in the field which is what I'm most proud of them for.

Tom- ouch. That is an awful week. Sorry to hear about the break-in, sure hope the police turn something up for ya.

Paul- a little grilling, swimming, going to see Shrek, beer guzzling, and general merriment is all that's planned for the weekend :D

George- safe trip back! Loved the pictures from yesterday. Very cool to see in action photos.

Tim- which art museum you going to? Any cool exhibits there?

Oh, i'm just ribbing ya Steve ;)

I wasn't sure anyone was interested in the movie as it was kind of low profile since it didn't do too well in theaters.

Plus, this is the MT, from time to time we all get a couple of shots in :D

Morning. Hope you all have a fun, safe long weekend.
Someone in Nebraska City will be placing a small flag at my Grandpa's headstone this weekend. He was a Korean War Vet

Good morning guys. I hope everyone has a great day.

Tom- Very sorry to hear that. Hopefully something breaks your way soon.

Anthony- I watched The Road Tuesday and I thought it was excellent. I would definitely recommend it as well.

George- Have a good one.

Morning all,

It is official.

Class is now over and I got my "A"! :mrgreen:

Tom- sorry to hear about the theft/damage. Nothing surprises me in this world; people do crappy things to others. Also, I can't stand when people blame the economy for crime. There was a ton of crime before the economy went south, and there will be a ton of crime if/when it recovers. Crime has no economic season. :(

I am curious to see whether Andrew applies his new math skills in the MT. Judging by what he has said about his frustrations with the class, I think we are safe.

As was I, though I was wanting to see it... :? That's actually holding great restraint for me, as that is one of my biggest pet peeves.

Also, should be an interesting day here soon; the semi-mobile car across the street, which has received at least four parking tickets, now has a boot applied to it! :o

The beings across the street haven't stirred from their drug-induced hibernation yet, but when they do..... :shock: :?
