I checked, and don't have any of the 6 Lankford's that you need. I'm surprised there aren't more Lanford's listed on line. Must be a lot of Cardinal Tek collectors out there. There is 1 Lankford Tek listed on Sportlots without a pattern # listed. Good luck finishing this set!

Thanks for looking. I bought most cards on SL, COMC, eBay, etc.....in fact I nearly have two sets. The lack of cards is due to his status not the number of StL buyers. I know of one other Lankford TEK buyer aside from the 8100-card set collectors.

Bunch of teks listed and it kills me when knuckle heads post diffractors for huge BINs. Prices are just so high lol

I offered $40 for the RJ diffractor, which is just a tad too high based on past auctions, but is my 'get it done' price. Auto-declined..... Good luck with that!

You can say that but I sold a Frank Thomas diffractor for $90 a few weeks ago. Had it up for $99.99 OBO and I had 5 offers inside of 2 hours, all of which were over $70.

If people are willing to buy at those prices, sellers would be "knuckleheads" to NOT list at those prices...

^^^ Correct , why would you not list them on the high side? If Alomar is getting $40 , why wouldn't RJ bring $60++. The qty isn't out there , the qty of each made is low , and it seems like some still feel they should be $5-10 cards. Maybe I'm off on my thinking but I basically think if your going to obtain the cards you will need to pay strong , it's at the point where 17 years later we know Tek Diffractors are HTF.

It wouldn't bring $60 because there is no precedent for that in the past 2 years of BIN & auctions, all ending $20-40. As likely the strongest buyer of RJ high-end 90s cards out there right now I think I have a grasp at where these cards should be at. A 2000 Tek Gold #/10 sold at auction for a whopping $6.83 a few weeks ago. Prices are where they are, not where a seller wants the to be. So price it high all you want, you got me to offer top dollar. If that's not good enough, enjoy that relisting fee, brah.

And if we were talking about a normal insert I'd just pony up & pay it considering the rarity. But Tek Diffractors, there are going to be more listed I'll need, another 86 to go. So overpay for one and I just set the precedent of what I have to pay for the other 85, all I'm saying. I overpay for RJ cards everyday, no big, but this is taking the long view on a continuing battle.

Did you "brah" me in the response ? Ha ok. Do I understand or state that listing them high was going to mean they sell for those prices,no. A seller still has to understand when the offers are at the top of the market. My point about Randy being $60, was about pricing it that way based on the market when a player such as Sandy Alomar is brining $40. I wasn't stating it will bring $60 but we do know there are a few people building Tek Diffractor sets as well as RJ collectors who if it was the right pattern could bring a higher dollar amount so why not list it as such. You can't just look at it from a buying standpoint , nor can the seller just expect it to sell because its listed at a certain price. The whole point is seller would not be to bright to list them cheap just to suit those who want to buy them cheap. As there could be a market out there stronger than just one individual player collector.
