the Blue Jackets unveiled their new 3rd jersey the other day...

I am not a big fan of it at all. it just seems very boring and it's kind of a ripoff of the Florida Panthers 3rd jersey.

it is indeed a cannon.

the Blue Jackets have a goal cannon that they fire anytime a Blue Jacket player scores a goal or they win a game...

Yeah, a bit of rip off of Florida, Nashville thirds. I do like it though. Cannon is cool logo.

Our old AAA Baseball team, Calgary Cannons, used to do the same thing. Whenever a homerun was hit or the Cannons won the game they would fire the cannon

Calgary Hitmen and the Regina Pats revealed their WHL Heritage Classic jerseys on Thursday in Calgary. I Must say i am super pumped to get myself the Hitmens new Jerseys, they look amazing :shock: :shock: :shock: .


The Hitmen jersey features striping inspired by the 1926 Calgary Canadians, the first Calgary franchise to win a Memorial Cup. The grey and black color incorporates colors from the early days of the Hitmen franchise and also features the retro grey and pink logo.


The Pats jersey is the same design as the ones they wore in the mid ‘50s when Regina was the junior affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens. It features a blue and cream color scheme with a Canadiens patch on the sleeve.

the Detroit Red Wings have signed a deal with Amway to have the companies logo on the left shoulder of the player's practice jerseys. Amway will also have ads added to the dasher boards in the Joe Louis Arena. hopefully this doesn't lead to ads on game jersey.

Yeah, Heaven forbid we ever reach the day where we pay $120 for a box and have the box hit be a Red Wings patch that isn't just red and white. A multi-color patch would be the absolute END OF THE WORLD!!!

the Tampa Bay Lightning unveiled their 2011-12 home and road jerseys today. the team decided to go with a "simplistic, iconic look". I'm not quite sure how I feel about these. they are kind of bland but at the same time I look the simplistic look. I do miss the Black though.

Martin St Louis. Vincent Lecavalier and Steven Stamkos modeled the jerseys this afternoon...

My initial reaction is a little bit of disappointment. They don't look bad but they're not great either. Maybe they will grow on me though, as i would like to get a St Louis/Stamkos Lightning jersey one day.

I personally like these ones way better, just my opinion...
