Good morning, gentlemen (and women, should any choose to manifest their presence).

Russ, so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I'm glad, though, to know that your grandparents lived what I assume were long lives and that she has such a caring grandson. I hope you make it there in enough time to spend some last quality moments with her. I am sorry, though, that your immediate fam can't be there. My grandfather died a few months ago and it made a big difference to have my wife and everyone else there. :grouphug: Sending prayers your way, friend.

I have to ask...why are so many of you up at the crack of dawn? And for those who are sleeping in (as in posting here around 6 a.m.) what, may I ask, do you do that causes you to rise at that hour?

Just the way we are. Dan starts the weekday threads near 5a EST daily and Barry/Darren do the same on the weekends. For me it is a lifetime of waking at 4a that has conditioned me; I now sleep until 6a so it is like sleeping in

If you don't know why, then you're not one of us...

George -

Not sure if you noticed, but late last night a number of guys in the MT league were talking about draft time. I know that it's set up for autodraft and I understand the reasoning, but...

I know that not everyone will be able to make it no matter when we'd set a live draft. But for those that can't make it could they not just prerank their players (if it's important to them - if not, obviously yahoo will pick) so autodraft can take care of it for them? My assumption is that you'd prefer not to do this because those that are present drafting might have an unfair advantage. I can abide that and all...but I think it'd be a small advantage and it's just a free league. Being free, I'm just throwing it out there that those who are able and would have a terrific time drafting together might as well be allowed to do so. For a lot of us fantasy folks, one of the best things about a league is the actual draft - they're a good time. I'd also like to point out that if the draft is set at a time in which I can't be there, I'd understand and still endorse the opinion that a live (online, that is) draft would be nice for the league. I know that finding a good time COULD be a headache, but if we throw out a few ideas I don't think any guys in a free league will be too dismayed if the time is not one in which they can be there (I know I'd totally understand).

Thoughts? And I apologize if I'm making life hard for you, George - I know we all appreciate you setting things up.

Ahhh I've been exposed. Never seen the movie (or at least not all the way through). ::facepalm::

I need to get used to waking up early all the time again...I haven't had to for a little while but it'll all change after a lil bit. I thank God I'm a coffee drinker now.

Frosty - forgive me for forgetting your first name....I'm still having a hard time keeping up with all you fellows - and how far from Detroit are you again? You trying to get to any Tigers games in April/May?

No peer pressure on when you should be waking up. ;) Wake up at your own discretion...

It's Jamison...but calling me Frosty is fine since it's my nickname since HS.

I'm in Dearborn and already have DET-TEX 4/19 tickets for myself and my dad. Tiger Den seats, baby!

Oh, don't worry...I didn't feel any pressure to wake up early. Just saying that there certainly is much to say for not wasting time in bed when one could be productive. 4 a.m. would certainly be a stretch though, lol

That's terrific bout your seats! I've never been to Comerica, and this only be my wife's second game ever. I used to have a partial season ticket plan at Citizens Bank when I lived in Philly...but obviously am not sure about seat views for the Tigers. I'm looking at section 217-219 at the moment (hoping to go on 4/7)...prices are a smidge more than I'd care to pay so I'm gonna wait until last minute for stubhub/ebay. Any advice on which seats have the best views and which I should steer clear of?

Anywhere is good. It's up to you on how close to the playfield you want to be. It's not like the old Tiger Stadium where there were support columns that would block your view.

My dad has a bad back so we went for Tiger Den seats which are somewhat cushioned and wide. Spacious. They are $70 each but you get all kinds of convenience. You also get "waiters" who will fetch anything for you.

Good morning!

I decided to sleep in this morning.

Russ, thoughts and prayers go out to your family, I hope your grandmother can overcome her illness. :grouphug:

Happy birthday Tim!

I still haven't pre-ranked my team, might be able to get to it today. I have had drafts the last two day for other leagues I'm in, and I didn't even get a chance to scan and list some items for sale on Sunday evening.

I have a couple of boxes of Leaf Golf incoming, might do a live break if I can figure out how this live Ustream works.

I'll start it if no one has and I'm headed to the rink on Sundays.
Then I start to worry that Barry hasn't posted yet ;)

The MT age range is what's so cool though. Sure on the boards you know whos 16 and who's older, but here it doesn't seem to matter even though Barry could be Taylors grandpa
Ok, that's a bit exaggerated......but we do have at least 1 young grandpa out west somewhere

I'm only 2-3 years younger than Barry, thank god I don't get the stone tablet treatment.

I keep my lists on scrolls, hidden in caves. 8-)
