So the first day of school went well for the girls. they were really excited when they came home that they both got the teachers they were hoping for. I've got to run out today and pick them up some new thermos' for their lunchbags and do the usual odds and ends around here.

I was able to trade the Braves for the Reds, so I also got a Joey Votto gold and a Drew Stubbs jersey card.

I was very surprised when I saw what the Jeter and Mantle golds sell for. Last Jeter got $60 and last Mantle got $77.

~Of course, when I try to move them here on the board, people will offer around $20 each. They're saving me on eBay and PayPal fees so that's really a deal!~

Good morning guys. Last night I got a text from my girlfriend's sister. The school security gave me a freaking parking ticket. The reason- I "backed" into the stall. When in reality all I did was pull through so I wouldn't have to back up to get out. Kinda ticks me off, and there is no sense in trying to fight it. Its my word agains the school

True enough. The Topps Value Boxes were excellent last year. I've had some luck in some of our group breaks as well. I just don't go into a break expecting to do well, so it's always a nice surprise when I do.

I hate paypal sometimes. Verification of my credit card keeps dropping and I have to call them about once a quarter to get it re verified. I am trying to pay for my September victim's card and it won't let me!!!!
