I have $500 in Michael Bowden. Although he doesn't have to do that much in the majors for me to move at cost. Into most of it for low.

I forgot about my Bowden stash - doesn't compare to my Wieters or Laporta but a few hundo in him.

What "aggravates?" me the most is that I was seconds away from going after Buchholz instead of Bowden. They were selling for the same price back when 05 draft went live. I researched both, and decided to go with Bowden ::facepalm:: The only way I can convince myself it wasn't a completely moronic move is that I would have moved all my Buchholz stuff after his no hitter and I would have any collection left

I only have one of his cards, but it is a BGS 9.5 Aflac Gold Refractor Auto of Jeremy Jeffress. Considering it is an on-card auto, I don't think it came from a smoke-free home...

I think I paid $200 or so... If he somehows turns his career around, reaches the final 6 of American Idol, and gets named to the Supreme Court when he retires I am in Fat City...

I learned my lesson; now I like to buy cheaper, multiple cards of prospects with no hope.

I'm in on Jeffress too - have several hundred into him with the most expensive being his Bowman Red Auto 1/1 for~$180. I really thought he was going to do great, he seemed to have all of the tools and that FB was insane.

I've seen Delmon Young mentioned several times but I think he could still turn it around, if you've bought recently, I still think there could be money to be made on him.

For the most part I've come out of most of my prospecting ventures just a few dollars short of the maybe $50 that I invested in them. However sometime last year I remember sinking around $50 into Franklin Morales who I'm still holding out on and Andrew Fie who I'm sitting on a ton of chromes.

Ahh, I did remember someone. If Trevor Cahill doesn't pan out, I've got a few hundred in him for sure, although I doubt it's over $500.

Some dude with the Astros organization whose name escapes me.

Ok, as an old Beckett board user, this made me laugh out loud when I read it. (sorry JP for the loss of $, but the sarcasm was priceless) I remember when Pence hit it big, I had a brief thought that HE was who you were stashing, not Einy.

And he can hit .260-280?

Oh, and Durant can barely break .200 in high A ball?

Pick a Twins prospect from 2002-2005 & I have a pretty good stash.....

Denard Span (could do ok)
Jesse Crain
Jason Bartlett
Matt Moses
Scott Baker
Johnny Woodard
Anthony Swarzak
Jay Rainville
Matt Fox
Kyle Waldrop
Glen Perkins
Trevor Plouffe
Matt Garza (sold some of his stuff though for profit)
Henry Sanchez
Paul Kelly

I could make up for it many times over if I sold my Mauer stuff though 8-)

You know!!! LOL, but at least I collected a person and a card I love. Could move the stash, but still hoping to pan out. I am hoping Schaub's breakout will be big next season. I like the potential of the 12 Gold Refractor rc's of him. Have about 500 in them. Got some cheap.

That investment should pay-off next year if you got in at a decent price as referenced above.

I got about 3 for under 20 dollars. 5 for under 40 and a few better centered ones before his trade for in the 70 range. stopped after getting 0f 20% of print run. Still have yet to get a GEM but have 3 in currently. Have Gem base/ref/red/white and have the Blue 1/1 that I had to have to finish the rainbow.

I tanked miserably on Brandon Jones. I had a ton of his BC blues Xfr ref sterlings. No real high end but I graded it all and waited too long to move it. I traded them all to a guy I know and got back nice stuff but I tanked badly. If Jaime Garcia does not come back strong I will take a bath too.
