Probably another grand in Scott Mathieson....

Were those offset by gains in Howard and Hamels?

I have a little over $200 in Mark McCormick.

S. Pearce could turn it around , but it is look he is not going to pan out either

I tanked miserably on Brandon Jones. I had a ton of his BC blues Xfr ref sterlings. No real high end but I graded it all and waited too long to move it. I traded them all to a guy I know and got back nice stuff but I tanked badly. If Jaime Garcia does not come back strong I will take a bath too.

I lucked out with Brandon Jones, sold a Gold Refractor for $150 right at the peak of his hype that I only had about $40 in, also had about 20 refractors /500 that I got into very cheaply and made money on

however, from around the same time, still have these plus more, probably have $600+ total into what I have left of Lillibridge (pretty much a complete player collection of his stuff up into 2008, along with a GU bat and some other stuff):

Thought I posted this in here but did not see my post so maybe it did not show up earlier :)

My biggest kick in the junk is when I spent about $200 on a red refractor of Chris Hobdy. He was a awesome lefty pitcher who threw in the mid to upper 90's and had 5 pitches to chose from. He made it up to Vegas (Dodgers AAA then) in like 2 years and then about 3 weeks after I bought his red refractor (I was trying to put together the rainbow) he got arrested for stealing from the 51's locker room and selling the stuff on ebay. He is no longer in baseball and I have his red refractor still to remind me of what a moron I am.

*Edit* I thought he was a lefty but just looked him up and he was a righty

Dunno. Never sat down with it and figured it out. I got out of Howard too early. I know I made a killing with Happ...

FWIW, Mathieson, after 2 Tommy Johns, should be in spring training and giving Lidge a run for his money in the bullpen.

I paid $300 for a Red Refractor auto of Pedro Beato. Yeah...woops. Won't even get into how much I have in him overall.

Be glad you don't have Marinaro's stash of him.

Oh yea, I also have a huge stash of John Sneed from the Jays.....He was here the first year we had the affiliation for AA, and I was his ebay broker for picking stuff up. I wound up with lots of cool stuff including game used jerseys and what not for helping him out

1999 Bowman Chrome Willi Mo Pena... still have about 40 of them, I thought he was going to be huge

I've also sunk a ton into Will Venable, but I do collect his stuff so it's not an investment (plus he's doing well so I could conceivably make some money if I wanted to). The only Venable's I really regret buying are the (15) 06 Sterling Black Refractor's /25. I paid around $50 each for a bunch of them and they would have depreciated on their own without these bastards somehow getting their hands on seemingly hundreds of unnumbered fakes. It really grinds my gears...

I actually got some nice Travis Snider parallels for some of my Brandon Jones Stuff. I did sell a few blues 9.5's for 75.00 ea but I still got hosed.

Jose Tabata ::facepalm:: lets just say I still have at least 10 BC ref's 9.5's and several more stuff.

Denard Span (could do ok)
Jesse Crain
Jason Bartlett
Matt Moses
Scott Baker
Johnny Woodard
Anthony Swarzak
Jay Rainville
Matt Fox
Kyle Waldrop
Glen Perkins

Matt Garza (sold some of his stuff though for profit)
