Oh, ok. Danimal made it EVERYONE's business the minute he posted about his woes publicly instead of handling it with the trade mods. If he - or you - don't want my opinion then foe me or stop acting like babies.

Like you said he probably had a quick flip or trading going (neither are illegal last I checked) and paid for express shipping and it was shipped reg mail.
The guy is dealing shady practices right there.

Dude. Nothing has been PROVED, yet. One day, you're gonna be trashed when no one is around, and you'll really appreciate someone speaking up for you. You should have kept this between you, him and the trade mods until the end game could be resolved. As of right now, you're just a bag o' tools.

I agree with you...but you were still wrong for blasting him 5 minutes after he sold you the card.

Anyways, everything about this rose red flags, like the recycled pictures from eBay, then the pic from far away of the 5 and then the lying about the DC and all of that.

And for the people arguing about how the innocent don't come back and argue....he's innocent until proven guilty, true. We are at the point where cards should show up now if they really were sent. Id drop a negative on the guy just for promising overnight and not delivering on that. Thats a red flag too. All the guy did was buy himself some time to save face in the short term (it worked obviously, since people still think 5majors is solid) and he'll be gone with the $$$ in the longterm...

I have tried to be the "good cop" in this whole thing, letting thefivemajors know that I would back him through the whole ordeal. The only problem is he is not responding (but has read) to my very polite PM's. I asked him if he could talk to his PO about possibly misplacing the packages etc but he refused to return my message. I understand some people are busy but he is facing a payout of well over $1,200.

On top of our agreed upon price, I paid $10 extra dollars for better shipping, insurance (to cover his butt), DC and SC. He decided to use no SC (even though Paypal asks for this on sales over $250), and no insurance.

I hope those that continue to defend the seller can look at the situation through the buyer(s) eyes as well. I truly hope that again it was all a shipping mishap over a busy July 4th holiday.

He recycled a pic from eBay, which is questionable... but the pic "from far away" wasn't "from far away." You could clearly see 5 different sigs on 5 different cards along with the gold foiled autograph stamp (and the lack of a facsimile). I don't see where he lied about DC, though.. just that he didn't send express.

It's just too early to label him as a thief. Danimal started 10 mins after sending him the money.

That notice means he probably printed out a label from PayPal and the message was generated as such. Once, again, he may have printed the label on tuesday, but has stated he dropped them all off on Wednesday (and the other # shows acceptance on thursday). You're in the same boat as danimal, and I wouldn't say they weren't shipped just yet.

What he's not taking into account is how he acted like a ******, which puts others automatically against you leading them to ignore the arguement.

I have to agree with this. With most people today having color printers he could have easily printed out 5 cards on regular paper stock and cut them out.
