I have to agree with this. With most people today having color printers he could have easily printed out 5 cards on regular paper stock and cut them out.

Im sure he is very serious. This is how easily it is done...

whether it was Dan or some other high phallootin' member it was plenty early for the call out and flame thrower, but according to my calender today would have been a great day to start since it didn't arrive today as it should have.

Without knowing the history of this transaction, and not speaking as a moderator, but just a guy who has been around a long time, I'm shocked to see a great guy like danimal who has been around a long time without any incident whatsoever getting trashed like this. Danimal pays for overnight express and his electronic DC with no updates shows it was sent first class mail.

Randy shows as being sent priority mail also with no updates.

These were generated on july 1.


If you really would be concerned, I'm not sure what to say.

You see, I would have handled this like an adult and gone straight to TFM. Kept my concerns to PM's with him and, if unsatisfied, contacted a trade mod.

If, after 7 to 10 business days (you see, I live in Germany, on a military installation, so mail takes a little while to get here) past the ship date, I still had nothing, then I would have ratcheted it up a notch and brought him to the board's attention.

I mean, that would only be the RATIONAL thing to do.

Shipped from the "middle of country" doesn't mean everyone should have recieved their cards by now.

I shipped a high end card out on June 30th and it has not been recieved. This was shipped in a box via first class with signature confirmation and insurance.
Processed through Sort Facility, Jul-02-10, 03:00 AM, WEST SACRAMENTO, CA, 95799
I live in California, and I am worried(being the seller) that it has not arrived or been updated. Haven't recieved any emails from the buyer though.

Now another item that was shipped on July 3rd. Same size box, First class but with just DC.
Out for Delivery or Available at PO Box, Jul-06-10, 09:50 AM, BROOKLYN, NY, 11225

Not sure how a package shipped a few days later and across the country is being shipped quicker. The USPS is just weird like that sometimes.

There was no need for the other two to do that because they also posted in Dans thread 10 minutes after the deal about them also having a not so fuzzy feeling about the deal.

You have to remember this is a $500+ deal, this is not a small deal. Take that into account, thats not chump change for most people.

I also would have taken another approach but when it comes to that kind of money some people dont always think things through. And another thing that makes me think that these guys are not getting t here cards is what I said in the original thread about this guy. I had a deal for the Strasburg auto but I told him he had to send first, after I told him that he said that card was sold. But the scan showed five autos and only three sold. Now sure he doesnt have to sell all five but that would also make me feel not to good about this guy.

Dan (danimal) was a long standing respected member of the BMB when it was in its former glory. So it took him a little longer to get to FCB, that doesn't wipe away his history.
