I don't see why he couldn't be in the conversation at the end of the year. He might have less margin for error than some of the other rookies, but it wouldn't be some huge surprise to see him win it.

all i am saying, and reiterating what john kruk said a couple years back (which i agreed with 100%) is that to me to win ROY you should have at least been on the opening day roster or at least come up wihtin the first couple of weeks
