Here's what I've got from the Topps T206 run

I missed out on the only Sovereign back I saw as well as the only Carolina Brights. Didn't see as much of this product listed as I anticipated so I guess I'll need to jump on it if it comes up now.

A few things to post in here, some nice things but this is one that I was crazy excited for when I saw it. Player/team collectors know what a huge pain these types of things are to track down years later. Just about every year the red Sox have a team 4x6 set released, it's usually a charity fund raiser type of thing. Tim Wakefield was included in four seasons, after hardcore collecting him for a decade I finally found the last one I need. I'm not sure why but the others I have seen multiple times. This is only the second one of this card I've seen.

I need to post two new autos from 21 Topps update, and I just saw Wakefield is in two Auto sets from 21 National Treasures....pretty bummed that in this "super premium" release one of them is a sticker....lame...I'll still buy it though.... because I'm lame

I love that set, might be....might be my favorite auto of his, was also his first certified

Yeah, the design reminds of of an insert or maybe a subset from late 90s early 2000s, it's basic but it stands out a bit, of course I wish it was on card but the sticker doesn't make it awful

Just got this yesterday Holo silver parallel to the 2021 NT midnight sig

I also got a plate auto from the 2021 NT "Signatures" but it's nothing to write home about

This guy came in the mail yesterday, one of my favorite Wakefield autos. 2021 Topps Transcendent VIP auto 13/20.

Been a bit since I added anything, money is tight. Wakefield made it into 22 Diamond Kings, decent looking card....another sticker, I haven't added anything from that yet. I was pretty excited to see he made it into the Topps Spotlight set...I was less excited when I saw the card. The base is pictured below. I'm not trying to knock the artist...but... seriously???

When I saw it on eBay I thought, maybe it looks better in person....nah, this isn't one of those cards. I have a parallel already coming in, I won't be looking to complete the run on this.

This totally reminds me of that "I am better than your kids" email where the guy critiques seriously crappy children's art. Topps needs to do better...
