Thanks Danny. Those 65's do have a nice look to them. I am going to try to fill in the holes in my 65-70 Cubs team sets before going back any further. Looks like I need to pick up a few Ernie Banks cards now.

I'm currently working on 1960 & 61 Fleer football sets, as well as the 1951 Topps Magic football set. I need a T207 Chester Hoff and a T202 Chase Dives Into Third, with Clarke & Gibson on it to complete those two for the Yankees sets.

Got this one in today that I traded for.

I remember having a lot of the 1961 League Leaders cards, as they were in the first series, which seemed to run the longest. The second series cards would last a while too, but then you had to pay attention to get the other series cards as they hit the stores.

That's one of the reasons I love the old Bowman singles...some great cards featuring old catching gear, etc.

Well the first card arrived for a new set for me. I discovered these cards due to the posts by dano7 and others in this thread. I was born in Winston-Salem, NC and I live around 45-50 minutes away now. So here is my first T210 Old Mill card and the start of my Winston-Salem team set.
