Re: OFFICIAL- Vintage Pickup Thread.

Maybe, just maybe, my last vintage pickup for the year (ignore December 17th's post  )
My complete set of 1964 Topps arrived today.
If there is anyone in particular you want scanned, LMK.

Re: OFFICIAL- Vintage Pickup Thread.

Nice looking cards dano - I'm assuming you bought the whole set at once, that must be fun going through all of them. I haven't done that since the late 70's, early 80's, when I was buying 2 sets of Topps each year.

Thanks. The whole set would be EX+, but the high number cards are really nice. It's a whole lot cheaper in the long run to buy a complete set. It just takes a little longer to save up for it.

Re: OFFICIAL- Vintage Pickup Thread.

Hate to change the subject but I noticed on a previous thread and then in Danny's signature the reference to "TTM" autographs. Probably a dumb question, but what does the "TTM" stand for?

FANTASTIC!!!

Thanks, Dano too!
Yea, this is the 4th (and probably final) time i have upgraded it in the past 2 years. I wanted the best I could find for under $1000...
It has been a fun hunt. I believe I am now content with my mays! Wish it was SGC though!

WOW

the amount of stuff that walks into your store is fantastic!

well i don't post the tons of junk that walks in lol.

I should have posted the T-3's I got last week, you guys would've like them. John McGraw was the marquee card, aside from some boxers.
T3's?? Those ugly things??? Why in world would you post those??

I'm actually disappointed you did not post them...any Red Sox?!

Happy New Year everyone!

Just for you Scotty, the 4 baseball singles that were included with a slew of T9 boxers in my recent Turkey Red purchase...

The T 3's look like they belong in an art gallery.
