Definitely this one. It has been nearly six years since one appeared at public auction. I would be afraid of never having the opportunity of getting another copy. 1980 Charlotte O's Police Cal Ripken, Jr.

There are a number of cards I likely won't ever sell, but for sure this one. Dad got it signed by Aaron for me:

I acquired this (along with many others) from my dad's collection. I sold some 60's bell brand football cards that I got from him and the strange guilt I felt from selling those was unlike anything I've ever felt before. Cards acquired from family members hold a special place in most people's hearts, so I'm sure many can relate to this. Also, I'm not into selling cards to make a living, so most my cards are off the market :D

This one...

I wanted one so bad in 87, but never got it despite ripping a TON of wax. It's the "no TM" error. It's my favorite card of my favorite Yankee.

I already put a card in this thread, but since I collect multiple sports, I thought I would show a baseball card I would not part with:

I only wanted one cut autograph and had determined about a year before 08 Legendary Cuts came out, that I wanted a Paul Waner cut auto. When this card showed up on ebay, I probably couldn't have clicked buy it now faster. I love it with a fairly clean signature on just a plain old paper background, not an index card or check, or anything distracting. I probably overpaid for it at the time, but wanted it so bad I didn't care. It is numbered 2/2, and 1/2 has been on ebay a couple times and is much worse eye appeal than this one.

It would take a number starting out in the 5 digits to make me part with this card. These are impossible to replace. For $50k i'll thrown in a few of the small ones to go with it!

I picked this one up in a lot of on Ebay for $32! I have no idea why he included this one with a bunch of 10 cent base cards, but I didn't ask questions. The title of the auction? "10 Cal Ripken cards" Now if I can just find a moron to list the Ripken/Arod dual auto for a similar price...
