Yes it works with Vista. Just noticed Newegg has them for $63dlvd now. At that price I'll be upgrading from my crappy all in one too. Here's the link for you.

$59.99 for that scanner is a great deal. Plus it isn't bulky. Ditch the big all-in-one and just focus on scanning.

I've been wanting to get a scanner soon too.My question is, say I have something other than singles to move like a 3 inch binder of stars.Scanner isn't going to get the job done.Is a digital camera the way to go?

You can do that with a CanoScan with the top open (it can be closed, but 3" may be pushing it...I'd have to check when I get home...I know it can accommodate some thickness).

Thanks for the info.I've never sold cards on eBay, so I don't know a damn thing about scanning.I guess I don't understand how you can scan something like a binder with the top open.Very inexperienced scanning anything here.
