Bacon's awesome. But I'm not an internet *****. I want people to know who's talking to them. Not hide behind some fake name.

Anonymity is for *******.

Yeah yeah yeah... I have heard your rant about it before, at least twice if not more.

It seems to me that with the recent name changes, many people went far less cryptic with their names (myself included). I think that speaks very positively of the type of community that's been built here.

Sam Banks, as always, the trendsetter.

Way back when I registered on eBay I wanted to use "olerudfan" as my eBay name since that's what I am, but it was already taken. Decided on "olerud363" to incorporate his batting average when he won the batting title in 1993 with the Jays. The username has stuck with me through various online presences over the years, except Sportlots.com where it's actually too long, so there I use "olerud36".

tm: The Matches used to be a band from California.

decomposer: Name of their album. One of my favorites from freshmen year of HS. Name stuck with me when I post on a music forum and now I just use it so I can remember it.

Mine is my nickname around my hometown. when I was 18 I started becoming part of the group of poker players around town. And since I was the only one younger then 30, they gave me the nickname BoyWonder. As for the 089...I was born in 1989, and at some point just added the 0 lol

I read one of those wrong, and spat on my keyboard. I'll let you guess what one-Dirty mind.

Mine is pretty obvious, I'm a big fan of Syd Barrett. His music, his art, the way he lived I envy it all. I'm also a writer and there is a Syd in everything I write.
