Any Yanks fans want this?

I'm pretty sure signing a guy with a serious hip injury that squats for a living is not going to signal the dawn of a new era. So, no, Montero is staying, that is unless Josh Johnson or Felix Hernandez becomes available. And if anyone they're likely trading Romine.chromerookies said:Wow, so can we now officially say bye bye Montero?

Yup. Any time you bring up Montero possibly not being with the Yankees it makes people mad.MallCopKJ said:I broke this story last week and a flame war started in my thread.

Probably because as of Sat Dec 11, 2010, 3:38 pm, when you posted it, there was no actual source, and you were speculating. It also had to do with the backlash of your other thread title, Crawford to the Angels.

Unfortunately sometimes when people like myself (and jaypers of course) get inside info, we know things before an "actual sourse" reports it. In all seriousness though, there was no speculation about Martin to the Yankees. Crawford was all speculation.
UPDATE, 12:42 p.m.: “I think it would be a rare situation for me to include Montero in a deal.”
