Washington Nationals:

Ryan Zimmerman
Livan Hernandez

I kind of feel like those two are easy. But then it gets a lot tougher.

Do I just go with the future? Strasburg and Harper?

Or go with players that made an impact during their brief time here: Alfonso Soriano, Chad Cordero or Dmitri Young?

I would also from the OP replace Juan Gonzalez with josh hamilton. Juan was an incredible player but his star tenure was during the steroid years. hamilton may have done crack, but he moved on and still proves he is a star.

Ryan was a first ballot and I believe that pudge will be as well. Young will not make it and juan will definitely never make it. That siad, I believe hamilton gets his spot.

Aaron, Mathews, Murphy, Chipper

i couldn't agree more. and The Murph deserves to be in the HOF with his stats and defensive skills from his time. no one could touch him.

THIS!

I would have to build 2 Mt Rushmores

Aaron, Mathews, Murphy, Chipper

and

Maddux, Spahn, Niekro, Smoltz, Glavine

but Hey, there is an extra Statue of Liberty in Vegas, right?

I'd take Galaragga over Castilla, but Tulo is getting mighty close to displacing both of them.

Although some will make a case for Trevor Hoffman :D

It's really sad, actually, Padres had some great players but none really specific to San Diego (besides the two above):
Alomar, McGriff, Winfield, Ozzie, Caminiti, Finley, Nettles, Templeton, Maddux, Rollie Fingers, Goose Gossage, even so far as Adrian Gonzalez... No one stuck around too long in San Diego.

Well, I know you think the people who listed 5 players are total morons, but the original post says:

I guess you haven't been to Mt. Rushmore lately.

In the healthcare bill there was a $321m project to add Obama to Mt. Rushmore.

You know Milwaukee's Rushmore could be Aaron, Spahn, Mathews, Molitor, and Yount. They belong here more anyway. Then you can have your Maddux's and Murphys ;)
