This thing was hard to track down for whatever reason!

And I picked this up for $10 at the Flea Market,some goo-gone and bleach-white cleaned it up great!

Cool! I used to own that card but sold it several years ago! It's a nice card for sure! Also, I have that home plate of Griffey but mine is signed which it looks like yours isn't? Still awesome even if it isn't signed!

Definitely! I think you got a great deal on it! I would think it is definitely worth more than what you paid and it is definitely a great item to hang on a wall which is where mine is at! Should look great in any room I would think! Congrats!

Thanks bud,you wouldnt happen to remember how much you sold you Plate at the plate card would ya?This ones the second ive seen pop up on ebay in a year..I dont think its SP'd,but who knows.

Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I was watching some shows on TV! I think it was around $20-$30 if I remember correctly? I know it probably wasn't more than that. Hope this helps ya! Thanks!

theres was something about the hologram on the backs of the plate at the plate cards, I cant remember what it was, nice plate I have a Non Autoed in the box in my closet ,thoses things are heavy LOL

I have been watching this thread for awhile now thought I would share... I picked this up a couple weeks ago. Griffey teamed up with Sam Adams a former Bengal and started an indoor football team. To generate ticket sales they both signed these balls and gave them to season ticket holders. Team eventually went under. I thought it was a cool piece because Jr would have rather played football

Oh, yeah! I think I remember seeing that listed on eBay a while ago and thought it was pretty interesting! Definitely something different than Griffey's usual cards or memorabilia! Forgot about that until you just mentioned it and also that JUNIOR would have rather played football! Ended up being a pretty darn good baseball player though! Would have been interesting to see how he would have done in football? Cool and thanks for sharing it!

Hm,The play at the plate does have a hologram on the back.Now im curious,lol.And yea,the plates pretty heavy!I think im gonna need something more than 2 scrawny nails to hold er' up.lol

this card was found exclusively in Home Team Advantage (HTA) packs of 2001 Stadium Club. Available as redemptions only it is unclear how many of these exist of each player, but they are extremely difficult to track down.

Found that on a Griffey collectors blog.Interesting.
