Going to be interesting to see, if he finishes at his current pace, where Myers ranks on the BA top 100 list.

Anyone know why Cordier missed his start Sunday? Not on the disabled list. Can't find any info.

If so, I don't know how they could possibly keep him out of the top 10.

I'd imagine around 10-15. Off the top of my cranium:

Montero
Trout
Harper
Helly
DJ
Julio
Moustakas
Ackley
Lamb
Myers

You could argue having a few guys ahead of him. But 10-15 seems reasonable.

Of those you listed, I'd take Myers over Ackley for sure and Lamb for sure.

DJ hasn't impressed me this year, I have a hard time seeing why he's been ranked so high honestly. Certainly past seasons are meaningful and so are tools besides the bat, but he hasn't shown much power at all during his career aside from an 11 homer season last year, and his bat just isn't that impressive to me. He'll be a weapon on the base paths, and his glove my shine, but a guy with an average bat like that isn't a top 5 prospect for me, even if he'll be a leadoff hitter and steal 30-50 bases. Whether BA will continue to rank him in the top 10 is not up to me, but I've never really been high on him.

I could see Myers slip in there after a great showing in Low A and if he's hitting .390 after a month or two in High A.

Dammit. Cause of the altered title it took me like three minutes to see this thread!

Kentrail Davis: 2-4 again. The guy just gets hits.

Domingo Santana: Missing again.

John lamb in the top 10? Really? I would be willing to bet that this won't happen........

+1 He isn't the best pitcher on his team, he might not be the second best pitcher on this team. Montgomery and Dwyer might be better. Good season yes, but no one goes from outside the Top 100 to the Top 10 in one year. Unless they weren't signed the year before a la Stras last year.

Make that 3/4. .287 Definately predicting a 2010 Hot Sheet debut this week.

Would anyone care to give me Justin Smoak's stats?

Wait, I just checked them, Smoak can't even hit 0.200 in Triple A, really?

Justin Smoaks OBP < Jesus Montero's Batting Average.

Justin Smoak sure is a prize!
