watching baseball today Ive seen some very odd plays that if the players would use basic fundamentals... the plays would result in outs.
Cubs/Red Sox.. ball popped up to SS and instead of using both hands... he takes his eye off the ball and player is safe
Same game... Red Sox catcher has a Cubs player dead to rights between 3rd and home.... runs the player back and throws the ball too high to 3B and ball tips off his glove and allows the player to score..3B threw ball away on trying to get the player out at home.
Now.. Twins/D-Backs... After Miranda hits a double.. D-Backs still down.. next batter tries to bunt him over to 3rd with no outs... 3B rushes in as he bunts the ball in the air... 3B ran in too far and the ball went over his head... both players safe.
