109 Bowman Blue Wave Redemption Packs - Screwed

Considering they where free to start I would feel the person I bought them from made out pretty well and I lost the odds. The same way I feel when I bust 10 cases and I don't get the proper amount of gold refractors. Now if guaranteed autographs where missing sure I contact them since they are guaranteed, but the rest are odds. And unless I bust 80%-90% of a product there is no way I can really claim I was screwed.

I find it very hard to believe that if you had received a box full of packs labeled "NON AUTO PACKS" and were well-shorted on autos, on top of all the other factors laid out in this thread, that you would just shrug it off. FACETIOUS COMMENT ALERT: But hey, maybe you have thicker skin than most of us here.

Other than you have to put out more money on the back end?

Best refractors I ever pulled were 2 gold.
I stopped buying topps and my odds went up considerably! If I put no money out I expect to get nothing in return.

Thats your assumption, but even after all that. The odds are the key here, and people lost. I completely understand the gripe with the boxes but honestly its a non issue, they recycled a box that's it. Which if they didnt do this would really be nothing but odds, which people won and lost.

I wish everyone at FCB won the odds. But apparently the small percentage that busted it didn't.

What I was addressing was the fact that you "Wahhed" being "attacked" -- to which I responded that sometimes caustic words must be used... referring to "attacks".

They were free packs, and they probably made sure more people had a shot of getting an autograph than the people who got multiple packs. I'm also sure some of Topps' better customers, i.e. dealers or distributors may have gotten more of the autographs packs. Time will tell.

Nice, now we're getting into it. Now I'm the girlfriend scorned. LOL. The funny thing is that you're sitting here assuming that I'm complaining on behalf of myself and myself only. If this issue continues, I'm raising the issue for everyone, whether smaller collector or not. Frankly, I'm pissed for Lisa Su and her 13 packs that should have had 2 autos with a chance for 3 instead of only 1. Sure, she killed my odds with 1:13 instead of my 1:25.8 packs, but if this issue cost her an extra auto, then that upsets me too.

I'm getting beat up like I'm just trumping my screwing, but someone has to voice the issue first so that others can share their similar experiences.

Also please, anyone that killed the odds and hit an auto in better than 1:6 packs please chime in here. I want to be fair and balanced.

Well, technically - if he could deduce meaning from words as most he would have seen I wasn't calling him a woman. He would have seen it as a reference to a well-known saying indicating that he is acting out of bitterness due to a perceived bias against him... But - I cannot control his comprehension or depth of literacy (as he has pointed out his self-deemed lack of intelligence).

This is the perfect attitude to take, Lisa. Yes, it sucks that people didn't get what they felt they were due... but to turn that into outright accusation is putting the cart before the horse. Time will tell how many made it into circulation - given there will still be some unaccounted for that just did not make it into the mainstream circuit. It's amazing that someone like Tunahead would take my sarcasm as truth when saying "we", yet BCA is trying to turn EVERYONE into a victim when others may have actually seen a "chance" as "chance".

I used to be an addict. Pulled a Topps 1/1 that turned into a Zumaya Heritage red auto /52. Not only did they not ask what I wanted, they replaced from outside the product line and not even another 1/1 or something low numbered.
Topps does not get 1¢ from me anymore. Either wax or aftermarket sales.
UD and Panini do.

I haven't stopped completely, but I open about 5% of what I used to. I haven't opened a pack of baseball cards since the MLB monopoly began.
Ive opened 11-12 UD hockey and 11-12 Limited hockey boxes and some rack packs.
I spend more on singles now that ever.

In said I used to be an addict. I opened thousands of dollars of wax from 01 to 08. I learned. I still crave wax and really miss baseball cards (I love the new panini offerings) but I know my money is wasted on wax and better spent on singles. I'll always be a recovering wax addict. Its the same as any other addiction.

I don't think he really stated it like that either... the question he poses in the first post is "If CS reps know which packs have autos (which they do) what exactly is stopping them from back-dooring these cards?"

It's a very valid question. He didn't say they were for sure doing this, he just asked a pretty reasonable question, which I don't think anyone has answered yet.
