300 is the absolute peak for that card. No way I would go more than that.

Agreed, I actually only have one George Brett and it's just a two-color FOTG patch decent sized window low numbered but not crazy nice I'd love to get a really nice Brett but yeah even $300 is stretching it would love to stay at $250-$275 honestly.

I think 2015 tier one hit a home run on a card set with their autographed bat knobs. They are just gourgous. If you follow the sales they have been getting premiums over regular knobs of the same player. I had one on my radar when I saw the checklist. As you all know I'm a huge twins fan and rod carew had a auto knob card. It was a must have for me! I can proudly say that I landed it and it looks amazing in person :) the auto is on-card and clean and crisp. the knob is actually the knob and has carew number 29 written on it along the knob numbers for his kind of bat. This might be my best rod carew cArd I own, if not the best certainly top 3!

There used to be a nice George Brett patch on the boards that I had a chance to buy, but didn't have the funds at the time. It was part of the logo and was in one of the a Donruss products. It wasn't even $100 I don't think. My guess would be someone here has it in their collection. Still my all time favorite George Brett patch card.

( Before I check the entire thread )

Are there a lot of Brett patch cards listed in this thread?

I don't believe so. I just posted my two Brett jumbos from 2005 sweet spot Classic. But I don't believe a lot of Brett stuff has been posted yet.

I'm somewhat embarrassed to say this is my only George Brett...no surprise why I may overpay for that one ;). Though if the seller will be firm at $500 we won't make a deal.

Awesome card! Putting an auto on a bat knob card is honestly a risky proposition in my opinion but I do think they did a very good job with the design. Glad this one found its way to your collection

It was a bit of a risk. If they would have put a sticker auto on it or even made it a book with a auto I would not like it so much. I have bashed topps in the past so it's only right that I give topps credit here. I love the auto knobs and think they hit a home run!
