It is always interesting to see who has a beautiful autograph (Mickey Mantle) versus who has an ugly autograph.
When I see something like that, I often assume foreign born player who may not have done a traditional "signature". I think of one in particular, Oscar Robles. You are probably familiar, as he was drafted by Houston and appeared on a Signature Rookie card before heading over to the Dodgers. I have a couple TTM/IP autos that show a lot more flair. Perhaps they are fake or perhaps he just developed an American signature. The SR card is almost laughable, but I praise it for being a legit certified auto that I could add to my Dodgers auto collection. That doesn't mean the family's 11 year old neighbor didn't actually sign the cards though!

We have to remember that a lot of the Latino players have had little formal education and some cannot sign their names very well (if at all), when they arrive in the US
