I really like how Topps did the refractor parallels this year for Bowman’s Best; only a section of the card has the effect, not the entire card.
Almost as if they took time with the design this year and actually cared about the collectors for once.

Usually i NEVER bother looking at a card in a wood plaque. It has always, for my 36 years of looking at cards meant that the card in the plaque was an 88 topps, an 89 score, or something equally overproduced..... so i was very pleasantly surprised when i just noticed a wood plaque with an EPIC SWATCH of Clemens.. AND it was Jersey#22/50. And it was cheap! Winning! 36 years and finally a "plaque worthy" card lol! The plastic is even recessed at the right thickness to not have harmed the card.

It’s a big one for me. It’s one of the few 90s cards that I’ve needed but never owned. It took a bit of time due to it coming from Canada and my PO holding it for a few days, but it’s here!

Seaver and Jackson Ceramic. I still can't believe how cheap these are at times. Both of these were under $10, closer to $5! I think most people think these are facsimiles! They are NOT. They are real autographs. Bad job of marketing the set by Armstrong.

2004 Donruss Timelines Recollection Collection Mariano Rivera 1996 Buyback Auto 1/1 -- This is a card I was aware of, but never thought I would ever see, let alone have a chance to own.
At one point, I had collected everything of Rivera but as a fan of his signature, I pivoted to collecting just his on-card autographs back in 2005. He signs quite a bit now, but at one point he only had 5-6 on card auto releases all the way until 2010, quite late into his career with a total checklist of only 25-30 cards. These early releases hold a special significance for me.
Of those, 2004 was the first year of 1/1 Rivera autos, all were stickered except the Recollection Collection buybacks. Of the four cards from Recollection set, this is the only 1/1 of the set, making it his first 1/1 on-card autograph ever issued!

Killer /25.
A small group of (7) signed 50s cards of semi-stars. This is the most interesting card, so it represents the group.
I had to get one of these when my kids told me he was the definition of a basketball scrub player. He has a championship ring though, and many don't. plus i like these Old School autos, although this design is one of the worst they have ever made.

Big '90s pickup for me:
1998 Elite Master Craftsmen Ben Grieve 046/100. As you would expect for a 1998 card /100, these don't show up too often. The last time I saw one was several years back, I really wanted it but I was outbid. That was what kind of turned me around to start actually paying up for the cards I really wanted and stop buying so much stuff I didn't care a lot about. Now that this one is in hand I guess my number one most wanted Grieve is the 1998 StarQuest Home Run/100.
2001 Ultra Platinum Medallion Eric Chavez 44/50 gets my set needs down to 2. 1997 Leaf Fractal Matrix Canseco finishes off the team set...unfortunately it's pretty beat up with lots of surface scratches. For some reason it's been pretty tough to find so I had to settle for it, but I'll grab a better condition one if the opportunity should arise for the right price. 1998 Bowman Golden Anniversary 11/50 Chris Enochs gets my set needs down to 4.
Lastly, a couple of 2024 Topps parallels.
