Not sure where I stand, as of now it seems like Topps Chrome might yield the best ROI for case busting. With Strasburg being shut down in early september and the regular season being over, anyone think this might hurt Strasburg values? Especially considering a handful or products will have already been released with him in it?

He's on an innings limit and they said he'd reach it by the end of August or first week of September. They seemed pretty stuck on that idea and its been said that even if they are in the playoffs race, he's done when he reaches the limit.

Someone correct me, but according to the sell sheet, it states there will be 10-11 refractors a box with 3-4 of them being prospects and the rest vets or rc logos, each numbered.

I got this because there are 220 vets/rc logos and you get 7 refs.
Theres also 110 prospects so you SHOULD get 3-4 refs a box unless the U.S.A. count towards the propsect count.

This is total garbage......

When will topps just sell direct and cut these Gaugers out completely. It truly is a joke that within 2 days of posting this product they raise the price 40%. I am not trying to single out any particular distributor, because Atlantasportscards was great to me, just making a point.

Everyone, do NOT fall for blatant price gouging. Happens every time with BC and BDP as info first releases. Establish a firm limit, and stick to it. Wait them out, and if they refuse to be reasonable, stick to singles.

This isn't base Bowman where the break was driven by the possibility of pulling a $20 paper Bowman Strasburg, $35 Bowman Chrome Strasburg, and a $30 Bowman Chrome Harper. This set is driven by autos at the moment...and that's all. Anything over $725 right now and I'll happily pass.

middle man, distributor, whatever you want to call them. I love the service that they all provide, but it is getting silly. Especially since there are many card shops that use those sites to gauge pricing. So these sites go NUTS on their pricing the day they receive infromation, and four months out, it screws all of us.

The thing is, regardless of what we do the secondary market is gonna boom. This is bigger than educated collectors.

the product releases in about 4 months IMO the prices should not be anywhere really high the price gauging is just ridculous. A prime of example of that is blowout everytime he sells a case he raises his prices. I remeber him doing that for exquisite basketball a few years back.

What incentive do any of these places have to presell sure winner products at all?
