Makes sense for the Rangers. I suppose it is a decent deal for the White Sox, though it tells me they don't anticipate contending in 2014, despite having some promising young arms.

I hope Rios gets hot. He's been a very mediocre player and not worth what he's being paid.
And he's certainly not anywhere near an equal relplacement for the suspended Nelson Cruz.
