Lets see if it continues. I never thought we were as bad as the first 1/4 of the season went, but not sure how good we are either. I think it's possible te he pitching holds which who knows if it will, but I think they are capable of it.

the only way this will work is if our pitching remains as good, or better, as it has been during this streak. Our offense is just very streaky so we need consistent pitching. At the moment the only pitcher I'm confident in is Greinke.

Ray has been laboring right from the start, more balls than strikes through the first 20+ pitches of the game. Jays have runners 1st & 2nd with 2 outs.

Ray gives up a 3 run HR after going to a full count on EVERY batter of the game. He looks absolutely dreadful.

Castillo is just God awful, stop putting him in the game and keep Herrmann in the lineup. That's his 3rd strikeout of the game, the 2nd time with RISP.

We have double the hits we had last game but half the runs. The strikeouts are killing us.

O'Brien strikes out again. He's also extremely bad. I don't care if he hits a home run every now again if he's going to strikeout in all the other at-bats. Still doesn't have a walk this season.

Hale is an idiot, stop putting Castillo, O'Brien & Castillo in the middle of the lineup. These guys consist of a 50%+ strikeout rate in June.

When you've got a relief pitcher pretending to be a starter and a lineup full of knuckleheads who strike out 50% of the time in the middle of the order this will generally always be the outcome. Hale's idea of a "high risk, high reward" lineup was dumb to begin with.
