Mark Grace had more hits than anyone in the 90's. How is that not valued?
Not saying he wasn't good, but he's FAR from the best of the 90's. For a guy w/ the most hits in the 90's (your case for him), his career best OBS was 409, & he only eclipsed the 400 mark 3 times in his career. Best finish in MVP voting was 13th.
I thought this would be pretty simple. Shouldn't the best hitter of any time period be the player with the most hits in said time period?
well then Ichiro would be the be hitter of the 00s, but we all know Pujols was way better.
