Do you scans of the card? I have not heard of this type of error(?) from this set.

Can I get the opinions of some Ripken fans? Can you tell if this is authentic? In this condition, what would be a fair price to pay?

I noticed that the eBay auction for this was ended early...

...did you end up purchasing it from the seller? If so, do you mind disclosing what price you agreed upon with the seller? If not, that's perfectly fine...it's just that it helps in tracking the market value of rare cards like this.
That's the exact same card/picture. Didn't even know it was listed. Working a trade with a collector from another site involving a newer auto that I have. Still trying to determine an accurate trade value to assign to the Ripken. Any idea?
I had replied originally that I thought the Aqueous card, considering the condition, was probably around a $200 value give or take a few $$. If it wasn't for the two major creases I'd definitely value it higher even ungraded/unauthenticated. I guess it depends on what you're looking to trade, however. As a collector, a rare test issue like the Aqueous (even roughed up a bit) I would likely value higher than most newer autos. But again, I don't know what you're offering from your side.
Keep us in the loop...as Ripken collectors, we would love to hear about what type of trade you work out.
