I'm not sure if I have any big goals. Some were met this year. I guess the biggest is still yet to come. Finish the 2001 master set for one. 28 more cards to go. Some are going to be tough.

Finish whats left for my Topps set collection 1979-2008. Nearly done, just sleeving and double checking 89-94 and 07,08.
Add at least another 6 2003 Topps 205 Relics. Need 18 to finish set.
Organize and get rid of the rest of my extras...

-- Get to 500 different cards (probably around 200 right now...I got a 100 card lot and a 35 card lot on the way, so not 100% sure my exact amount yet, as there could be doubles)
-- Get to 15 different autographs
-- Try to get as many of the 32 01-05 LCM Mirror non-game used cards as possible (A TON are #ed to 5 or less)
-- Add at least 3 1/1's to the collection
-- Game. Used. Cleats.

-- Add an SP Prospect auto to the collection
-- Add at least 3 of the 5 letters left to spell his first name (H, U, N, T, R)
-- Get over 150 different cards
-- Add a blue refractor or higher from 06 BCDP
-- Get a Bowman Chrome Red Refractor from ANY year
-- Get to 15 different autographs
-- Game. Used. Gloves.

-- Get to 150 or more cards (I have strayed away from this collection for over a year now)

-- Make a profit on my Fairley stash (Just about $170 invested spread out pretty well)
-- Invest in another two prospects
-- Use any profits made to re-invest in prospects
-- Buy my first game used item (preferrably a bat or jersey)
-- Buy more memorabilia (8x10's, balls, bats, gloves, magazines, etc.)
-- Continue to open no wax
-- Be more generous. I have a ton of stuff that has just been laying around forever. Time to get those to some better homes.
November 23rd: Maybe I should be a little less aspiring next year. Low available $$$ + hard to find guys + popular player = tough to hit goals. If I erased everything I had done and left everything else up there, only 4 goals would come off.

I have a few...
The more attainable:
- 100 Different Nick Markakis Cards (Need about 60 to reach)
- 50 Different Jack Johnson Cards (Need roughly 40 to reach)
- Completely get rid of anything I don't need, or at least get it SUPER orgainized.
The harder to attain:
- Accquire the 2007 Elite Black Status Jennie Finch auto (Guy has a $1999.99 BIN but that is CRAZY high)
- Be a REAL super collector and make it impossible for anyone to outbid me on the nice Mike Green stuff. (As in setting no limit for spending)

100 1/1's of Nick Markakis - DONE!!! 5/22/2009
Get my Markakis collection up to at least 80% complete, with 1/1's (currently at 562 of 916 total, or 61.3%) - FAIL!
Get my Markakis collection to 95% complete, no 1/1's (currently at 480 of 602, or 79.7%) - FAIL!
Get at least 75% completed of all Baseball HOF players GU issues (bat or jersey/patch), 25% certified autos - FAIL!
Add at least 5 high end auto's to my PC of current players (A Pujols on card a definite must) - EPIC FAIL!
Begin my Topps 1956 SGC low end graded set. Get to 15% set completion graded 5 or lower. - FAIL!
I can thank the economy and my non paying clients for a wonderful collecting year Nothing like having over $100k in A/R with no one paying a cent since February...

- Upgrade my Frank Thomas rookie/minor league cards to PSA 10 quality across the board (currently all 9 & 10 with 4 in raw form only)
- 35% on mid-grade raw (with stars in PSA 7) 1956 Topps set
- 50% on my PSA / *** 9 OPC Baseball Wax run
- 50% on my PSA 7 Clemente Topps run
- 15% on SGC 10-30 / PSA 1-2 n28/29 set
- there are a few singles I'd like to aquire over the course of the next year too
- add some more early Frank Thomas signatures to my collection
- pick up any rare/unknown early Frank Thomas memorabilia (pre-1991) - believe it or not, a new item seems to pop up from time to time
- add to my Thomas phone card, pinback, and oddball collection

I just found out he has 8 autos in 2008 Prime Cuts, 3 are 1/1, so I hope to get at least half of these, of course I want all of them, but I'm realistic. Also my goal of 1200 cards is low as I'm close to 1100 now so I hope to have 1500 to 2000 by the end of 2009.
