It doesn't seem like that long ago that this thread was made. Its scary how quickly time goes by. Thank you to all of the members of FCB that have helped me with my collection directly and indirectly.

Two goals met, pretty close on a couple of others. I may still have a shot to reach a few more with a month left in the year.

1. Attend a some more White Plains shows this year.
:mrgreen: Attended 4 shows so far.

2. Try and end the year in the black! That is, sell more than I buy.
I still have a shot meeting this goal, currently negative $200 for the year.

3. Add 10 more O'Neill autos to the PC this year, 5 of them high-end
:mrgreen: Check, got exactly 10 with some nice high-end ones!

4. Complete the Don Mattingly PSA Basic Set (ungraded), currently at 55/107 cards.
Only 13 more to go, currently at 93.

5. Reach the 1,000 mark for my O'Neill collection, currently at 843.
Not even close, I will probably end the year at 940-950. +100 on the year.

6. Reach the 50% mark for Mariano Rivera 1990-2003 releases.
Currently at 48.90%, need only 9 more cards to reach 50%.

7. Complete the Marvel I, II, III; 1992 Marvel Masterpieces; X-Men 1 & 2 base sets.
I'm three holograms short of the Marvel Universe sets, not even close on the X-Men or Masterpieces.

I know a guy who may still have my old ones I sold him a while back.I'll hit him up and see if ever sold them or if he has them in storage.If he does still have them...I had every masterpieces set and all the inserts.I also had all the x-men sets as well if you are referencing the fleer ultra sets from the mid 90's.

I too will be shooting for the 3,000 mark on my Bagwell collection.
Also I will be going for 300 different game used and I will try to land enough autos to put me up to 50.This will take quite a bit of work though.

I never even got close.Got too side tracked.Crap!

I've reached a lot. 1000 different cards, #1 most wanted auto, #1 most wanted non-auto or non-RC. I will know before 2010 if I will obtain my #1 most wanted card...

2. I ended up spending a couple of hundred dollars total. Not what I liked but it was much less than 2008.
3. COMPLETED!
4. I am at 93 cards, still missing the last few Mattinglys.
5. I will likely finish the year at 945-950. 50 short of my goal but I was glad to pick up 100 cards this year.
6. I am about 10 card short of the 50% mark for Rivera, but I didn't pursue at all this year.
7. Only 3 holos short of finishing Marvel I, II, III. Still missing a bunch of X-Men and Masterpieces.

Larry Walker PC - get to 1200 cards. Pick up at least 1 more auto of his (he only has 7 and 4 of them are very rare, I have all the easy ones but none of the hard to find ones). Find the single button from 2005 Prime Patches set.

2007 Sweet Spot Classic Memorabilia set - Find the one card I need, the Babe Ruth Bat.

I just found out he has 8 autos in 2008 Prime Cuts, 3 are 1/1, so I hope to get at least half of these, of course I want all of them, but I'm realistic. Also my goal of 1200 cards is low as I'm close to 1100 now so I hope to have 1500 to 2000 by the end of 2009.

Wow, this thread has been revived. Looking at my goals I set I've already done quite well, I've picked up one of the SP auto's I needed from 1998 Co-signers and I have picked up 22 of the 27 cards Walker has in 2008 Prime Cuts including 4 of the 5 1/1 and 7 of the 8 auto's (the last auto I don't have is the 1/1 I don't have). I'm still a ways from my 1500 card goal with only about 1150. Kinda funny to see this thread again.

I'm at just over 1850 and have about 30 incoming so I hope to have 1900 by the end of 2009. So I'd say I met that goal.
I'm still looking for the two on card auto's I don't have, 1998 Stadium Co-signers with Walker and Grudzilanik (sp?) and the 1997 Donruss Signatures Centrury auto /100.
