at any point up til acceptance the gentleman could have said no.
all mr mint did was the same thing we see on this very board day in and day out. buy the lot for the big names only. we see steal threads non stop but no one rides the high horse in on any of those. we cannot assume the conditions of the cards nor can we assume that the gentleman didnt know what he had. we also cannot assume that the gentleman didnt do his diligence and shop those cards around. after all he knew the robinson was cut off and that the rose card was in good condition.
i personally dont think mr mint was a ****** bag nor that rough with the cards. he knew he was buying and what he was looking for got in moved the pages and got on to the next album. negotiations are won by the side with the leverage. this gentleman did not use his leverage. really, the only complaint anyone can or should make about this video is the person with the better negotiating skills won.
What don't you understand about the fact that Mr. Mint was called in as a professional? He was called by this man because he has a reputation for buying cards. So you are saying it's OKAY to use your business to go around ripping people off that are less knowledgeable than you? Ughhh...
