All they need to do is win one more game for them to clinch the NL West!

He's figured it out again. Cain has been more consistent and better this year, but I'd still say Lincecum is their 2nd best pitcher this year.

Who has figured it out again? Lincecum? Can't really agree with this either, his fastball command is been appalling and he leaves that changeup up a lot as well. Watching the Diamondbacks game, I was disgusted by the inability of hitters to hit him. I mean he leaves 91 up and struck out Laroche on an 0-2 changeup middle up. Yet, people still think he is absolutely amazing.

Lincecum has turned a corner for sure, Buster is looking really good now!ronfromfresno said:dutchj16 said:lisu said:dutchj16 said:Can't say I'm too pleased about that. Please look at the numbers, sub 2.00 ERA in September and a 5-1 record plus averaging 8-10K's a game, what would it take to be turned around a couple of no-hitters and throwing 105 mph?
On another note Buster better be the NL Rookie of the Year.

I also can't think of a team that is looking forward to Lincecum Cain Sanchez in a 5 game series. Once Cain puts the dagger in the Padres like he did the Rockies we'll have our pitching rotation on regular rest for the playoffs.

Sanchez scares me a bit. I'd rather have MadBum.
MadBum is country strong, he looks like he can still take a ton.kdailey4315 said:lisu said:kdailey4315 said:Who would have thought BUrrell would hit 18 HR for the Giants when we signed him to a minor league deal. He scares me also but he's been on lately. MadBum has to be running on either adrenaline or pure intestinal fortitude right now. I don't know how much more his arm can take. I also think Zito will rise to the occasion. We are scoring runs right now.

So would I, just eliminate Zito!kdailey4315 said:GiantsSuperCollector said:MadBum is country strong, he looks like he can still take a ton.
  Anyone from Hickory North Carolina will be country strong. He is only 21 though. I have total faith in him, I would just pitch Sanchez in 3rd game.
