Seldom to I send cards in for grading, and in this case you can see why. Is there any reason for me to send this in to PSA, having a pretty good idea what it would come back as?

Is there an upside to the PSA process that I am just unaware of?

Thanks for any insight.

Yes there is alot of upside to sending it in.There are so many reprints out there that almost no one will gamble and buy one raw.Even if you are not looking to sell you should considering it protecting your investment.

Okay - So rather than sending in for the purpose of a score, it's better simply to have it Professionally Authenticated? Thanks for the advice.

And for the Fella that asked for a story, there isn't much to share  My Grand Dad took me to my first 3 Red Sox games in the mid 80's, and that was sort of our little bond, even though he and I didn't spend enough time together. He passed on in '89 and left his collection to me, which was small, but still means a lot - The Ruth, and a '34 Goudey Foxx are the highlights.
