It all started because I found a Tom Brady 2000 Score Rookie Preview Auto in my “trash cards” binder I hadn’t looked at in 15 years.

I'd love to go through your "trash cards" binders! ;) What else was in that binder...any Frank Thomas or 96 Select Certified in there?

Hi everybody. Posting here after a long and complicated battle with consigners and multiple attempts at grading this card. Long story short my BIG consignment company I hired to sell this 1/1 masterpiece failed to get it graded by both PSA and Beckett so I feared the worst. After calling in a favor and having a very credible member of the industry submit this card for me it finally came back. I’m fielding all offers right now (already have a 9 and 10k offer) but I’m being transparent and letting everyone know that I’m shopping around offers right now. I think a private sale may be best for the card and this community. Let me or anyone else interested know. Thanks! Feel free to email at [email protected]

Why don't you post a pic of the card in it's case? ...and "coin it" so people will know you have it in hand.
(Did you used to live in Ohio?)

I have no intention of buying anyway, but that coin looks pretty sketchy. I'd want to see the coin from different angles and different orientations to the card.

That is simply insane to me that people will drop that much on a new card. Older cards are easier to excuse, but still is crazy. I know it's commonplace now days, but still crazy to me. For me, it's really still a hobby. I am not going to spend $$$ that amount to cars, houses and waterfront property on sport cards (over a long time, maybe easier to do, but not in small shots). Now if I were comfortable 7 figure rich, maybe I have a different attitude and perhaps some of these buyers are in that category.
