Nice Bruce! Man...I love those '04 SP's. Did you pick them all up from the same seller?

Yes I did, I won't say what it cost
I never knew these cards had Hawaii Conference versions, but they do.

Well I know how much the Thomas sells for from that set, so I know they weren't cheap. Does JR have a version like this from that set?

edit: Hawaii Conference? Scans? <scratches head>

The Hawaii Conference card is the 2nd thumbnail from my original post. JR does have a dual all-star patch card...my favorite from the set

Nice BIN for someone,

holy crap! someone had the balls to ask for an additional $10 off AND it has free S&H?

Wow, when Roy posted that I checked it out and didn't realize that they were selling two autos. I suppose if the leave you the option to make an offer, why not make one.

I'm glad the buyer got the card.. since he is a long lost Griffey collector that has recently found his way back to here...

Oh yeah I saw it. Go UD.
They haven't ruined enough of our collectable high end cards with 1/1 bat barrels x2 with all the multitude of other stuff. Lets just throw in 89 more signed Griffey RC cards and really put the screws to all those hot shots who thought they had something special with their /99 or /15 UD signed Griffey jr auto cards. We'll show them. See what 200 plus of these does to the total market (89 plus 99 plus 15).

I honestly think that high end collectors, the one's who spend most of the money, since we are the lowest part of the UD market, are treated as if we are not here. They could care less about collectables, they want to sell to the average guy and give him a chance to have what we already spent a lot of money to buy.

Thanks Upper deck- really appreciate that. Gives me a real warm loving fuzzy feeling for ya.

Think bat barrel cards were kind of rare, signed? Well lets add 1200 of them to the market cause we all know that those big spenders will have to have Griffey in a white sox uniform. And lets not make them too special. Lets have variations of the same card 5 times and deflate the price to near nothing as my 6 year old grandchild can now afford one.

Remember Ty warner and beanie babies? Ty wanted only to sell and went out of his way to screw the high end collector. Now beanie babies are back to toys, they are not collectable.
Prices fell like a lead baloon.

We know card collecting is not beanie collecting and baseball card collecting will be around, but Upper Deck IS NOT HELPING ITSELF BY CONTINUALLY FLOODING THE MARKET AFTER A PRODUCT LOOKS LIKE IT IS UNIQUE AND SPECIAL. People like me and maybe you, are going to eventually say "the hell with it" as their high end valued cards dive in value thanks to the card company we support.

Does anyone have or know some one who has any 1/1 Griffey card from the Premier 2007 set? Auto or non auto.

I'd be willing to pay on the high side or trade giving them the advantage to get any of those cards left out there. I think there are maybe 3 or 4 I don't have.

Anyone can pm me, or email me at [email protected] if you can help. Again, 2007, not 2008.

Thanks
SB
