Hi guys

Just some latest additions here.

Big thanks to magic for the Flair showcase auto, love that one.

Steve congrats on the 89 auto upper deck grading, awesome card. I love looking at your photobucket, maybe we can see some of those spx hero autos you have, how many do you have now, 52?

Bruce I love that red/blue stitch Sweet spot auto.

Nice additions Pinbreaker!!!

Just bumping this. The card has been discussed before, either here or on Beckett. Cannot remember what it was.

Are there any markings on the back? Is it a sticker?

Roy

I'll get a scan of the back. It's a silk card. The only info about the company that made it is a big "Z"

It appears to come from this company, but I couldn't find that card

http://www.zsilk.com/

Yup, its the same company but all of their current products look like post cards rather than baseball card sized items. Here's the scan of the back:

It's one of the lithos although the site says the lithos are 12"X16".

It's one of the lithos...they used those to create the postcards I believe.[/quote:3rnwjuua]

Ah, cool. Looks like they've gone out of business or something. They haven't updated their site in over 3 years.

How many of you are bidding on the Griffey Ultimate quad patch auto that is up right now. I don't want to jack the price up if several of you are going for it.

Ugly card, I don't think anyone should bid on it :)

Hello, everyone! I stumbled upon a card that I can't afford, but I figured one of you might be able to use it. I wish it was mine, but it isn't.

I just bought my 51st on off ebay (haven't got it yet)
this is going to be a much longer project than I had anticipated. Any help from all of you is appreciated

Also I am consolidating my photobucket stuff to eventually go into my own website server at home. Hope to get things worked out soon and start posting the whole collection.

I can assure you outright I'm not bidding on that beautiful special almost impossible to find quad auto Griffey card.
So that leaves you at least without me bidding

Oh yeah, and I am the seller

BTW,

Due to the present state of the economy, the vast number of cards I own already, the emotional tirades of my wife, the absence of dollars in our checking account- I will from now on be bidding on only the following Rose or Griffey cards.
If the card is not in one of these 7 groups, I'm not bidding (after my 2 esnipes go off ;) )

These are the only ones I'll buy from now on- (until further notice  )

1.American Hero Auto Griffey (KG #'s needed)
2.Griffey / Rookie Team (/3 or /1 cards needed)
3.2007 Premier 1/1 Griffey (signed unsigned)
4.Rose 1986 120 card set, any cards needed eventually want all 10's, need some even in PSA 9 now)
5.Rose 2008 Dunross /5 4256 card auto
6.Dual Autos With Griffey in Sets I'm collecting
7.Buybacks with Griffey I don't have (including ink color)

You have my word as does my wife

My Bad. I thought you were talking about the 4 patch auto Griffey on card auto I just put up
Item number: 190281053377

You were obviously not talking that card but this one
Item number: 370146405695

In my message above I said I had 2 esnipes left before I went to my "restricted buying". THIS IS ONE OF MY 2 ESNIPES REMAINING, I WILL BE GOING AFTER THIS CARD.

Doesn't mean I'll win the card but I wanted to make sure I was honest and up front. Anyone else here or anywhere can pursue the card as well.

I normally don't talk about cards I'm bidding on, but since I misled by getting the card in question confused, I feel now that I need to let anyone interested know I'll be bidding.

I might just have to make an offer he can't refuse to end the listing early.

Maybe I better reconsider this statement. 2 cards I had discussed with Bruce a few days ago, are being sold by buttercontrol. Either Bruce is Buttercontrol or they have made some aggreement for selling.

Whatever.
