Thats a great card! I dont know if anyone in this thread has one!!

FYI all, i have went through and linked the cards that i have in my bucket...you can see what it will look like. Got the list back from Bruce, sending it off to MP right now!! Magic, you have mail!

I like the way the links work, nice.

Edit: I think that linking one of each card should be enough.

No Roy, a link to every serial numbered card is the way to go! Just kidding, a link to everyone's photobucket should be good enough I think.

What about the QVC set? Should it be added?

Good point, I think so. I have the set, I would've added it to the list but I don't know the details on the set.

Roy, after linking my cards, and realizing what it would take to do everyone's, i think it is best to link the card name to someone's image. It really doesnt matter who's, since the card is the same. When it is all done, i think that is what i will do. It will be easier for me too!!

I took down the lists from after 1999. I will cut and past them in once i have everyones list back which will also make things easier. Kinda got ahead of myself yesterday by putting all the lists up which makes more work in the end.

Nice card, I've picked up a couple from him lately, including a 97 SP buyback 7/7.

Great card, i love the buybacks. Still trying to find the one i need to complete that 04SPA 40man buyback set. You got a good price too, i think thats exactly what i got mine for a year back. He has some great cards, man what a collection! Guess he needs some money or something...funny thing is he seems to have multiples of everything so his collection has to still be unreal. Wish i could afford some of the cards hes listed over the last month or so...

If you were around when he was buying Griffey's, he wasn't going to be outbid on anything.. I sold a few Griffey's back then that wouldn't get 1/4th of what I sold them for..

If he ever decides to start just dumping cards he will kill the market. For about 4 years he bought the majority of the Griffey autos listed on Ebay.

Griff going back to Seattle is the news I had always hoped for as I thought he'd stay in baseball another 3 years IF he could DH. How many HR's can he hit in 3 years? I'm hoping for enough that he stays there until # 700.

I was completely content with that scenerio until I think it was Roy made a comment that going to Atlanta would create a whole new group of griffey buyers and raise card prices. I believe short term that would have been the best. But long term Seattle is the place.

Regarding Ylaf, I know for a fact he has around 10 more of the /100 Griffey / Arod cards and many of other important higher priced cards. He's already driven that card's price down from $900 to @ $400 to $600. He's asking $700 for his next one but he'll take less. I think he has the ability to greatly lower the really higher priced cards. I don't think he ever was collecting. Talking to him, I think he thought he was investing in a way, buying many of the same high priced items. I think he had 5 of the Arod / Griffey bat autos, don't know how many of those he has left. The only plus, is I think he got very angry after finding out he sold the one Arod / G card for $400 and then after people told him the card's worth, he is watching his pricing much more carefully.

At any rate he seems to be following the old time adage for screwing up: BUY HIGH AND SELL LOW. At least he helped alot of you sellers before 2005 when he was overpaying and buying multiple copies of the same card.
