well I won it for $208.
I have seen no interest in these cards for ages. People can's sell them.
It's just kind of strange it shoots up after I talk with the seller BUT I also realize now I talked to him near auction end, I got the tip late and wasn't aware of the card.
Just interested in why a***o( 2268) would pay that much for this card when none have sold as high. I'm bidding cause of the set of 100 I'm trying to complete and this is #67 / 100 in that set for me.

Anyone on here know how to get in touch with Bruce Laney? I paid him for a handful of cards about 3 weeks ago and now he's not returning my emails (and he hasn't sent the cards). I know he's well known to a bunch of Griffey collectors so I thought it was safe to deal w/ him. Firstly, I hope he's okay health-wise, but I am getting concerned that I may have to get those nutty paypal folks involved to get my money back. First one went for 455...mad i couldnt get this one for my set (and griffey collection). Hopefully this comes back up, the sale makes no sense to me

recent addition....dont get to pick up many autos anymore, but once i missed the /3 and the nolan ryan immortal, i had some money set aside that i was able to pick this up with. Have all variations but the /3. 21/28 of the 09 inscriptions set, but likely wont finish it...

Had a pretty good snipe set on it, but it didnt even fire. Still cant believe that sale...either way, only 01/03 hasnt been seen yet, so its either still in a pack or the person that pulled it isnt interested in selling it (so far). Might be tough to come by...

Help Requested on Griffey Card

Hi Guys
Any help appreciated for info on this card
The card was released as a gold /10 print listed n/a in Beckett and this card is identical to that image BUT it
has "SAMPLE" across the bottom left of the gold glove and does not have /10 stamp on bottom right of front of the card like the regular releases.

Does anyone know how many samples were printed like this card? Is it as sought after as the gold glove card without "sample" on it?
