Griffey Collector's Thread

Those would be nice to add, but they wouldn't be part of this set that I'm building. Basically the quest started out in having one of each of his Upper Deck base cards in PSA 10 condition. I was on a roll through series I of 2009, then they dropped 20 extra cards on me in series II, so I just decided to collect those separately. In PSA 10, all I need now is the base #855. For the other 5 variants, it looks like the pool has sort of dried up at the moment. Thanks though!

But when you have to bid against the whole country of Japan, it can get expensive. I was fully aware of what the bidding would entail. You just put Ichiro on a card and you are paying 3x value. It's my third one with dual and triple auto's but the lowest # so far. I thought if I needed money I could always sell it back to the Japanese. Is there a Japanese ebay?

Been back at beckett for several months now and have picked up quite a few new griffey's while there. traded some off as well (I know... blasphemous) but I started a HOF auto/gu collection as well and that allowed me to jumpstart that collection. but griffey is my main. Good to see a lot of you again.. I was wondering where everyone had gone to. thanks to MAGIC for showing me this place
